Flexistarter software

Recommended Posts

In my continued quest to educate myself and having read Texasmoms comment on the Basic software that came with her ct630 my question is this, What are people using for software? Do you need one program, Corel.., to design in and another to cut with. Is the Flexistarter software better than the Artcut that Texas mom got with her CT630. I am not looking for some $4000 software as I am just cutting my basic Rising sun logo and the lettering that goes with it. Thanks for the input.

It sounds to me that a lot of the vinyl peeps who are using pee cee's are using Corel. I know quite a few in the vinyl business who use Corel and love it. From what I hear you just need to download a driver for your cutter. I have been using LXI a spin off of flexicut pro made by the same company, and I use it on a mac :D . I have Flexi, Signlab, and other cad based programs fro my cnc, but i still use Lxi and the others collect dust. If I have to use the cad based i'll just export out of Lxi.

Oh and my cutter is a Panther from signwarehouse.com. & fortunetly I love it and have had no problems with it or with that company like others have reported products or support. But each situation is different, not every person has a good time at disneyland like they should
