Gerber Edge 2 And Envision Plotter For Sale

After purchasing this Gerber Edge 2 as a package from Advantage Sign Supply in April of last year, we have decided it doesn't suit our needs any longer. We also bought a Mimaki JV-3 digital printer, and it seems as if it does the bulk of our work due to the resolution and size.

For small decal runs (up to 11.8 inches), it is great. It tracks consistently through 15 feet (maybe more, but that was as far as we've ever went). The decals are quite durable, although they aren't resistant to most harsh solvents and chemicals (which a large part of our clientele requires).

As much as we like the printer, over the past few months, we've only logged 392 minutes. That's not enough to justify the money we spent. If we didn't have the JV-3, we would most definitely be using this machine more.

The plotter, which is included, is a Gerber Envision 75 (?? I'm not sure of the number, but it is a 15 inch). We've had a great experience with this plotter. It is accurate and FAST. The bombsight, also included, is a very precise method for registering printed materials. The blade is also included.

We're also including the Color ID reader that came with package. We installed it for a short time while testing the capabilities of the entire package. Although it works exceptionally well at matching colors, we uninstalled the unit shortly after (most of the work we were running was custom one-off designs).

We'll also include the Spectratone manual, which has over 700 samples of various combinations of foils applied over one another. This is a GREAT help when trying to find the perfect color, especially out in the field.

The only thing we are NOT including is the Gerber Omega software. We must keep the software as we have come to rely on it for alot of our design needs.

We are also including 19 rolls of foil (total of 569 yards) and 8 rolls of vinyl. If you'd to see a complete inventory sheet, e-mail me and I'll e-mail you back with the Excel document containg the inventory.

We have the entire package priced @ $17,900. We want to sell the entire package at one time, so we will not sell any of the individual pieces.
