Avatar's & Personal Photo

Recommended Posts

I just got another PM that seems to be repetitive but never addressed openly on the board. The graphic on the left of my post of the "Great Charger Bolt" is an "Avatar".

If you click on my name you will see "Personal Photo".

Some people have asked how to have either or confusing a Personal Photo for an Avatar which show every time you make a post.

To upload either go to "My Controls" at the top menu, MENU> PERSONAL PROFILE > "EDIT AVATAR" or "CHANGE PERSONAL PHOTO".

You have two choices, you can either upload a .jpg or .gif image from the desktop of your computer desktop, or input a web url "www.http://mysite.com/mypic" of an image that is hosted on another website.

Thanks for the reminder. Us older guys don't adjust well to this stuff, but I did manage to add my Avatar. Thanks.

No Problem, I actually went ahead and updated this thread with some pics as well, maybe these are a little more helpful.
