2 step SIMPLE way to install patterns into flexi

Recommended Posts

Well actually its a 3-4 step but so simple....I was needing the "engine turn" and another was a "polka dot"(lots of different colors of polka dots, lol) for a design. 1. If you find a picture of the pattern, doesnt matter what format it is in, from like google images or yahoo images, just find a picture of it. 2.Next you "right click" with your mouse and select "copy" over the pattern image. 3.open up flexi and "right click" anywhere there and select paste, now this pasted your pattern on the screen 4. this is most important step, with your pattern still selected (with box around it as if you were going to stretch or alter it) take your mouse and hover over your color swatch, doesnt matter what color you hover over as long as its over the swatch and "right click" with your mouse and select "define pattern" and now wha la you got that pattern now in your swatch....now get to designing whatever it is you need to design, wording or whatever and when you need to select the pattern its there in your swatch, just select it just like you would if you were going to turn it to another color of red, blue, black or whatever.....Some of you probably already knew this, but I hope that I was of help to those of you who didn't...thanks, hope everyone has a BLESSED weekend!

Same here, we've been using flexi many years too and didn't know this either...you can find out practically anything on the internet...its amazing how you can pretty much trouble shoot your own equipment anymore by looking on the internet...anything from working on your car to sign equipment. Who needs customer service anymore? lol....and its free, most of the time. Glad I could be of help to you!
