POWER SUPPLY TRANSFORMERS

DETAILS: Power Supply Transformers manufactured by HEICO lighting, a division of EMD Technologies, of Montreal, Quebec, Canada; sold at Denco Sales, Graphic Solution, Hart Supply, Interstate Electric, Montroy Supply Co., N.Glantz & Son, Pioneer Supply, Reece Supply Co., Sun Supply and Tubelite Co. from December 2011 through May 2012. The neon power supply transformers are designed to power commercial signs. They are in black metal boxes about 4.5 inches long by 3.5 inches wide with rows of vents on all sides. "HEICO LIGHTING" and the model information are printed on a plate on the transformer. The power supply transformers were manufactured in Canada.

Description: This recall involves neon power supply transformers designed to power commercial signs. They are in black metal boxes about 4.5 inches long by 3.5 inches wide with rows of vents on all sides. "HEICO LIGHTING™" and the model information are printed on a plate on the transformer. The recalled models include PLATINUM-9000-30, PLATINUM-10000-30, PLATINUM-12000-30, TFT-04PL-6000-30, and TFT-06PL-9000-30.

WHY: The transformers do not meet the UL standard for this product, posing a fire risk.

INCIDENTS: None reported.

HOW MANY: About 3,900.

    • Does anyone know if there is a place I can get some ribbon refills for an old Roland PC60? I just inherited the machine and will  mainly use as a  backup cutter but the printer works.
