Title: Purchasing Agent

Job Summary

Estimate bill of materials and perform job costing for custom sign product.

Essential Functions

1. Assist Sales and Project Management in providing them cost estimates in a timely manner.
2. Strategically source manufacturing to balance optimum cost with customer timelines.
3. Negotiate labor and manufacturing costs with Field Partners and Manufacturing Partners.
4. Resolve manufacturing partner and field partner problems to reach an equitable outcome.
5. Back up to buyer position ensuring that materials, equipment and supplies are ordered and delivered in a timely manner.
6. Assist Cost Management Group with special projects as requested.
