It's cold here too. Right at 0 with windchill of -20. Too damned cold to even go outside, forget any kind of work. Good day for reorganizing the shop & trucks.

at least the sun is shining

this morning my car wouldn't start. Luckily, my wife's did. After hooking up the jumper cables and 15 min. of freezing I got it started. I went to scrape the ice and frost off my windshield, and my plastic scraper shattered!

On a more positive note, my one car detached garage has become a walk-in freezer. Comes in handy this time of year after deer hunting season, or if you had to store a body for any amount of time

Everything FROZEN!!! Trucks in general, water pipes at home (even with a finished basement!!) ol' lady had a flat tire this morning....air compressor wouldn't run!! I am glad by this time in two weeks I'll be in the Dominican Republic at an all inclusive washing away my worries with Crown & water!

And here I was going to complain about having to be outside last week for a night job where it was a wonderful 9 degrees when we got to the jobsite. That was almost tropical compared to a -48 windchill.

looks warm but not really, my new office. When we painted the poles it was like molasses. was a balmy 10 degrees with no wind. got real cold after sun went down.

Scheduled todays install a week ago. Todays weather, blizzard like conditions with winds at 40mph! At least its only a post and panel.

Ended up making it out diving last weekend, here a couple of pics....

The "rays" allow light to penetrate the snow and improve visability underwater. They also lead back to the hole in case you become lost or disconnected from the safety line
