We all are acutely aware of the problem of shoddy contractors, licensed or unlicensed and this type of work delivered.

But I would ask, what is the solution to all this garbage that gives decent contractors a bad name?

We keep focusing on the symptoms but apparently have no answer for the sickness itself. Heck, we don't even know how to adequately identify that sickness to hopefully eradicate it.

Awesome! It's a Scrabble sign! I'm guessing the Rocket Surgeon who installed these. Used 1 5/8" sheet rock screws, directly into an EIFS wall. So they didn't hit a damn thing. If they used silicone, it was sparingly. Oh, this pic made me laugh! I needed it today. Been one of those days.

I've always liked installing signs that have a fun crooked appearance or with uneven baselines like that of a kids hair salon.

But this, this is even better! Its like a 'Hipster Sign Install' and while I am no hipster...I think I could adopt this method. Just got to

find customers that would be interested in something so cutting edge! The Future of signs is upon us!

I'll take "GRILLE HOUSE EXPRESS" for $300... Which is likely what the installer charged for this job...

Hahaha ...... I thought that's what it said too until I looked at it again. There are a few extra letters in there that must have spelled something. But that was my original guess too!

I'm guessing with the faces already removed, all ALL of the letters hanging, not just a few, that this was a job the OP was removing and did it for the laugh factor...

No way...NO WAY in hell even if they used really short screws and very little silicone that they all would have fallen without the owner noticing and calling it in...
