tensioning system

Recommended Posts

anyone know what type of tensioning system this is?  I have a customer requesting new flex faces in a sign.  All of the clamps are laying in the bottom of the sign, who ever put the last faces in, just used screws to fasten the faces.  Looked like shit from day 1.  This used to be a KFC sign.

Looks really similar to an ABC system we dealt with. They suck. No tensioning ability....you have to get the adjustment right and they pop in.....so after a few years of the wind stretching the face out, you can't just snug up like a wedge clamp system.

If its going to be a pain to track down and source, why not just retro the frame with a new system..... Flat Bleed Retro Frame - Sign Comp or similar?

It is the old 3M Wedge Clamp that is no longer made. Give us a call here at SignComp and we can see what we can do to help you out.
