Position:  Sign Project Manager

Job description 

At Northwest Signs a project manager oversees projects from consultative sales to completion, guiding the client smoothly through the

process with clear communication. Project managers are accountable for managing project schedules, budgets, scope of work, vendors, and quality.

 

Duties

· Provide oversight of projects from start to finish (including scope, budget, vendors,

monthly billing, design, fabrication, and installation)

· Create and manage project plans and all related project documentation, including work orders and installation guidelines.

· Directly manage the creation of sign drawings, working with the design team on behalf of the client.

· Keep detailed, organized documentation for projects at all times allowing documentation to be accessible to members of the management team for review and complete as built documentation.

· Deliver responsive customer service that builds confidence and quality service

· Review and complete contracts with clients.

· Maintain contact with client throughout process to provide updates.

· Work with sales, estimating, fabrication, installation, and design teams in order to complete projects on time, to quality specifications, and within budget.

 

Skills & Qualifications

· Minimum 5 years’ project management experience preferred

· Have knowledge and confidence to share while being willing to learn.

· Strong customer relation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and carry projects through difficult circumstances when needed.

· Good math skills to keep and maintain a budget.

· Solid analytical skills to solve problems.

· Must be able to read and understand architectural drawings, plans and specs

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Extremely organized with ability to multi-task

· Technically savvy and experienced with modern software tools

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Adobe Illustrator experience preferred.

· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
