Bakersfield Sign is SEEKING an EXPERIENCED SIGN FABRICATOR. Our ideal candidate would have an understanding of basic sign fabrication along with a knowledge of industry materials, processes and finishes.
Duties:
* Aluminum, steel and plastic fabrication.
* Channel letter manufacturing.
* Wiring of electric sign components. LED's, etc.
* Operation of various shop equipment including CNC, drill presses, radial arm saws, etc.
* Finish work, paint preparation and applications.
* MIG welding - aluminum and steel.
Skills/Experience:
* Attention to detail, TEAM player and leadership experience a plus.
* Experience with production and manufacturing of electric signs of various types.
* Knowledge of UL standards a plus.
* Experience applying spray finishes using enamels and acrylic polyurethane.
May be willing to train the right candidate.
Salary: Based on Experience
Normal business hours are from 8 am to 5 pm but may require overtime.
