Guess what I did Thursday... Right leg 2 radial fractures tibia. junk ladder. 3 rungs up. inside. The ol duck, drop, roll didnt work out this time. Really a test a faith and determination going on here. I have had sprains and some arm injury, but never a broken leg. Being a one man sign shop and a broken leg.. really makes for a lousy time. I guess if I had insurance. it might be a little better. ( i do not see how, except to pay the doctor bills) So if anyone out there needs a job selling signs.. I still have openings.. Work is still being done.. I have a tall chair and can fabricate like the rest of them. If I can get someone selling lots of signs, I can hire some fabricators and install peeps. I had a business partner.. but he only put 2 months into it then bailed. he wont come back unless he gets 6 days a week. 5 days at 35 hr and the last day at 45 an hour. If I had that kind of cash... I would be able to hire a whole fleet of quality sign people instead of 1 that would only do fab, complain, and drink beer all day. I am determined and need to keep this going. Anyways.. just my 2 cents

I use the jewelite. It is ok during the summer when the shop gets the usual 110+ But not in the cold.. it snaps.. the weld-on is pretty thick too..except after heat gun.. But I have some experiences with plastics.. so I thin it and it flows like thick water..

We have the rain up north too.. I'm below the snow line.. but not the cold line.. my shop is like 47 deg. with 100% humidity.. I forgot to buy bug-juice for the jet engine heater... Been using a heat gun to bend trimcap.. lol :xmassign:

Sales position still open. If I can go out and get 4 or 5 jobs a month. so can you. Plenty of work out there and new business' opening all the time. Rents are low and the old money people are opening new stores. They will all need signs. If a sales person would have snagged the jobs I did this month, they would have made money $$$$ If you are a sign sales person and know your stuff.. then come and sell for me. I got some of them t-shirt emails. I told the "minister" 20k cash. I traced the email to some 4th world country, and told him Interpol was involved. Never heard from them again. You have to watch out on the phone calls. If you opt for the remove me from the list button, it will connect you with an operator.. @ $2000.00 a min. Once you hit the button, it is like accepting the cashiers check.. your fault. When I get live people, it usually makes the day go by easier after some verbal abuse unleashed upon them. Hey.. they called first. The reason these people do this is because if they get enough recognition, the government will hire them to make the national security computers safer and haxor proof. it is like a World Wide Web resume for them. If they infect so many people, the major virus software whores will scoop them up, use their talents and sell more product. If they haxor big time and get thru bullet proof security, then the feds snag them and make them work for them for big bucks. If you notice, most of the newer operating systems make it harder to find the DOS prompt. GWBasic programs and some of the older non secure C programming is not functional anymore.
