  1. Erik, I share a building with guys that do shirts. Not embroidery, but they do transfers and hot splits, FULL COLOR Images and other neat work. Pnpvinyl.com Jay
  2. :bitchin: I am having problems with Windows XP and wireless networking.. I can't get anything to work... and I have tried all that I can try. Does anyone have some good hints? Everything I have says.. this is all plug and play. But its not happening. I can go to any hotspot in town, link up and have live internet. I can also get into the needed folders that I need. But when I come home, I can get it to connect, but I sure don't get internet and there is no chance of getting at files. What I need / want is a good guide to get it up and running. Even if its something that helps me to remove everything and start over. Sincerely, Jay
  3. Okay.. I got more information joemomma that I really wanted. Here is a little more information on what I am looking to display. Not only do I cut and paint signs, but I am also doing custom woodworking of all sorts. I build residential cabinets, boxes and custom furniture. We also sell and install custom storage solutions and closets. (yeah, I am coming out of the closet or is coming to your closet) If you need more of an idea check out my website http://www.stickmanwood.com I was thinking of building two large 8' columns from MDF, painting them, with a arched sign between the two. It all depends on what we get for a show space. I want something that will gather attention, yet show some of the capabilites of my company. I was even thinking of building the columns a good 9 - 10 foot in height and putting red strobe lights on top.. so that from across the show hall, they would gain attention...
  4. Hello everyone, I am working on a show booth for the coming home show season, for displaying much of my work, just wondering if anyone has some good ideas or pictures of displays they have created. I need to build a wall in order to support a wall hung product that I produce. I am really looking for a decent wall covering for this. Ideas? Commets? Thank Ya much. Jay
  5. Okay.. that would be an interesting way to warm... animals... I have a question.. we are thinking of doing a sign for the ambulance office with a heart rythmn in red translucent vinyl with a black foreground, what I am looking for is a LED chaser, so that I could turn two to three LED banks on at a time.. in slow motion... Where do you find LED chaser devices. Thanks... My cats are always sleeping on my shopbot or on top of my control unit, the moniter really generates some heat, so they enjoy that. Scares me from time to time when I am not paying attention.. and get met face to face with a sleepy feline. Jay
  6. Hello all, As an EMT with an ambulance service and just started FEMA's NIMS class. It is hard to imagine what is going throught the local, state and federal departments. This would be something very hard to plan for and prepare for. Even if all supplies were in place in New Orleans, would it still be there after the hurricane. Look at the Superdome, they are luck that it didn't collapse. I do have to comment on the looting, granted if your trying to survive, that is fine. But the other night I seen coverage of looting. The guy was walking around the wal-mart type store with enough fishing poles to outfit the Husker football team. What was this guy thinking? Who would you sell to? Its not like your going to catch any fish in the waters that your wading through. I feel sorry for the law enforcement and local fire departments that may not have anything to go back to. My heart goes out to the whole area, the devastation and dismay. Its going to be a very long road back to recovery. Its going to take a few good weeks to get the water stopped. And then its on to the long road of repairing basic services. Just my meager thoughts.. Jay (place for EMT smiley)
