  1. Good movie SG, was missing a little bit of something I can’t put my finger on but I don’ think it’s going to be a movie of the summer. I’m going to post this here instead of SW so all who are interested can view and read it. These varias aliases that I was using that were deleted, I have no idea what he’s talking about and he (Rapid) seems to be talking out of his ass because every post I have made is still up in SW. If he’s referring to the ohio isp poster I’m in San Diego. I have been making posts along with my wife when she gets a chance to direct traffic to this site as an “alternative” to others I feel along with many others who get tired of boards who carry an old lady like syndrome or a board like Letterville who is pretty much run and now hijacked by the usual posters who seem to be belligerent and self loving in almost all posts. I see time and time again people who like myself who have been on the board just get bombarded by the usual “gang”. The exact people who constantly do this on a normal basis are the exact ones who have posted in SW, go figure. I have pretty much laid out exactly what I think has been wrong in Letterville and to see who ever doesn’t fit in or whatever they don’t like, you get either edited or deleted. My timing about the problems in Letterville is coming a little premature than I would like but here it is and this is how I feel. It’s overrun and the Moderator (Steve) who I’m sure is a all around nice guy is to weak when it comes to his board and the way he lets the usual run around. You can’t mess around with a “Letter Pal…It’s a no no” I don’t believe in paid membership boards or boards that have to many advertisers because it starts to get taken over by politics and advertising, and I’m sure everyone knows how that can dictate. SW & SI & Letterville I feel is this way. I always hear it takes a lot to run a board, it costs me $75.00 a year and it’s something I don’t ask for help with. I’m not complaining about the capitalistic part of having a board to make money but at the end it will dictate and taint a board. Hiding behind an alias? Well yes, if your smart. If you have a mouth that can run like mine from time to time I need to. Not to hide form other sign people like Bruce Bowers or who ever else from Letterville who thinks using an alias is to hide. Here’s a con about SW, SI & Letterville that most of you probably don’t know about. Google your own name and attach “sign” What do you think will happen and who do you think will see it? If you don’t know the answer to that question I’m going to tell you. Just think, if you’re a straight talking individual you have nothing to worry about but if you’ve made dumb comment like I do from time to time (on politics), If your asking questions you don’t know the answers to or making dumbass comments who sees them? No, not the government. I guarantee you, punch in your name if you’re an avid poster to those sites you will see yourself come up. I know this from a recent experience from posting a question on one of those sites, I will never one anymore. I choose alias and always will. When Mr. Bowers and co. keep posting their comments it will bite them in the ass sooner or later. This is a piece of info you will probably only hear on a board like this. This board is an Alternative, I’m now viewing my board in the background and I see a post about “snob”…that does come to mind, So does “not knowing the bigger picture”. If I can make a “plug” in a post to tell more peeps about this board everywhere I can, I’m going to do it now more than ever. If anyone from letterville would like to post in regards to this go ahead, I don’t think I’m going to edit or delete you…just stick to the facts as best you can. My plug about I337 is me, my game alias…we don’t use real names there either it must be a generation or intelligence thing not to sure. Again this is one post that I or anyone else will have to worry about getting deleted. I’d like to write more but it’s late and I gotta eat, I’m sure there might be more to follow this but I gotta feed a impatient wife now. Maybe I’ll try to finish this up..who knows
  2. K, just ate breakfast and had two cups 'o' coffee. I think I can talk now. Nothing like problem solving, makes me enjoy the job more and more. A greater appreciation so to speak. If there wasn't a challenge the job would be boring. I think the Electric Sign field in the industry has the biggest challenges of all others and the most discipline needed. I love nothing better than to drive down the freeway at night and see my work glowing and radiating onto the roadway. <-----as poetic as I can get :D I also Sell, fabricate & install electric signs. Travis, I gather your talking about planning and executing a job start to finish. Maybe the feeling is unexplainable. I'm trying to phase out of electric signs and stick with non-illuminated, but as I do. I notice the appreciation of the finished job is not as great. I mean I know it's a damn good product, but maybe it's just that more time...that's what it is. The more time you spend the more you appreciate what you did. That was obvious wasn't it I'm glad i'm not a public speaker
  3. Couldn't agree with you more...I think :D It's so early with very littl sleep, I need to go back to bed. .....signs...fun.....fun.... .....fun...
  4. Alright But if you fall off the ladder I'm going to pour the beer you came out with all over you and drag you into the alley next to the dumpsters and claim I don't know you. Your not calling my insurance agent :D
  5. Maybe I'm sick in the head but I love this industry. I just got my permits approved today to do a projected sign and a regular wall sign in the Gaslamp District here in downtown San Diego. The wall sign is simple and 1 foot or so off the ground. The other is the challenging one. A huge projected sign (Blade) where I need to look at the structual and shop drawings of the building and pretty much drill and punch holes in the wall till I find the structual beams which are approx 2" behind the wall. A little bit of guessing work involved. After finding those beams I'll have to weld up some plates and square tubing to create two heavy duty brackets to hold the sign. I'll have to punch bigger holes above or below the beams to reach around with my hand to put the nuts on the bolts that will hold the bracket to the beams. Each bracket will have 4 holes with 1/2" bolts. After I complete that task I will have to replaster the wall which might look like swiss cheese. Final part will be craning up the large sign next to the brackets and fastening it, last but not least hooking the primary up. It makes my head spin sometimes but I love this stuff. I like the easy stuff but I like this stuff more at times. I'll be making a small video short and I'll post the entire job start to finish.
  6. Well we won't be seeing him over here anymore unless his IP changes. I just saw the edits, in SW. It's so carved up now, why bother just delete the whole thing. But I think it's funny how people get so duped over there at SI & SW into believing whatever they read. I can remember recently with the whole "Sign Fab" thing going on over there, peeps pretending to be others involved etc etc. P.S. Oberron!
  7. Damn I hate it when you hit the wrong button K, here it is. Lucky I still had it on my clipboard :D Nope that didn't help either. ****Edited Many Times***** They say if you don't live near a beach you will probably only see about 18 sunsets in a life time. Keep in mind and I know it's amateurish but it's the first video I ever recorded and edited with a computer. It's got some cool sound if you have speakers Wayward Sun Oh yeah, forgot, you will need to have "Quicktime" installed, most people already do.
  8. Took some pics lastnight of a evening walk along La Jolla Shores. Were just having some awsome weather lately. We've been going on these walks lately and I've never seen so many sunsets in my life, at least where the sun hits the water (& I know the sun does not hit the water but you know what I mean) usually we would have clouds in the way or something. Some friends and family in a conversation over Fathers day at a beach were shocked, but I'm very familiar with this. How, if your ever on the beach during a sunset how the everybody on beach pretty much stops what their doing to watch (surfer's included) then clap as the sun finally makes it's final descend down. To see and hear the entire beach do that is an awsome event. Here's a pic of my son Dario Pic 2 Final Descend I even have a pretty cool video and it was the first I ever did with my digital camcorder & mac. I'll find it and post it, it's pretty small and short
  9. SG are you a P.I. or something? You are a H4z0r!!! Remind me never to piss you off Oh and duh poster child and others in SW...Ummm I'm from San Diego not Ohio Every now and then I do post a "Come Check out http://thesignsyndicate.com for news and forums" In Signweb & Signindustry or my PR girl :D, but spam crap and put people down to get you here..... riiiiight. 18. ORIGINALLY FROM "DAVE LEXINGTON" Seeing as how Brian Seibert of Signfab has brought my name into this in his post (which has been locked out?) I thought it was fitting that I chime in and let the signworld know what kind of guy they are dealing with. Brian's name has been all over this and several other sign forums. It seems he has ripped off alot of people and is in trouble for interstate commerce fraud and insurance fraud. Thats on top of his failure to pay his bills to other hard working honest sign guys. He and ID Signs and Signfab in Missouri are being investigated by several agencies. How do I know? Brian and his wife Candy owe me a large sum of money. From what we have learned their very clever scam goes like this. They (Brian and Candy who is one of the owners of SignFab) created a dummy company (ID Signs)and purchased equipment (using several different finance companies) from several people. After receiving the equipment they notified the finance companies that they never received equipment or that it was damaged etc and would refuse to sign off on the equipment. They then quickly closed the company after only a couple of months and "merged" with Signfab.. So Signfab has all the equipment and supplies that ID Signs scammed and we honest hardworking sign guys are left holding the bag.. No money.. No returned equipment.. After merging with Signfab Brian actually listed some of the equipment on signboards for sale. Even though he informed finance companies that the equipment "didn't work" or "wasn't received" he listed the equipment as being in "brand new good working condition".. We wound up getting a Federal court judge to see through the scam and grant us an order of repossession. Despite Federal court orders Signfab refuses to disclose the location of our equipment, stating that a local court in missouri says they can keep it.. In addition to this scam they also went so far as to damage some of the equipment and to make a false claim to the freight companies insurance company and collected more money this way.. We have photos of the equipment before Brian as one ex employee put it "beat the sh*t out of it with a hammer to make it look damaged" we have forwarded our photos to the insurance company. These guys at Signfab are a real piece of work. I would encourage anybody to becareful if dealing with them. There is a long list of people making reports of warning on the sign boards but the posts keep being removed. (It seems Signfab is an advertiser on one of the boards).. Do not let any posts from Brian or Candy lead you to beleive these guys are anything other than what we have come to call modern Bonnie and Clyde. Remember where there is smoke there is fire and Signfab is an inferno.. To take the burden off of the fine admin here, We are setting up a website dedicated to this scam. We will show all evidence of Signfabs scam. You will be able to view everything from lease application, to shipping statements to video our installers took at ID Signs of the equipment operating. We'll show the infamous posts Brian made trying to sell equipment he claimed to the finance company didn't work. Other companies like SVP, VIMO, Mart Financial and more will be welocome to show their proof that they too were taken advantage of by Signfab and Brian and Candy Seibert. We will show Court Orders, emails, and share phone conversations with the agencys investigating these scum. For information on the website or if you have any questions please feel free to email me David Lexington at signfabrippedmeoff@yahoo.com
  19. THESE NEXT TWO POSTS WERE IN RESPONSE AFTER I LOCKED THE TOPIC BUT I WAS UNABLE TO MERGE AT THE TIME WITH THE CURRENT VERSION BOARD WE HAD RESPONSE BY B.O.P. post #2 AFTER CONCLUSION OF SIGN FAB There was actually two invoices that went unpaid for 60 days. An invoice is included with the shipment of the part, which is my standard practice. The first shipment was on Nov. 22, 2004. This shipment was sent UPS Next Day Air, so I.D. Signs received that invoice the next day, Nov.23, 2004., not Jan. 5, 2005. The second shipment for a replacement part was sent seven days later on Nov. 30, 2004 via UPS ground service. I.D. would have certainly received that invoice by Dec. 6th (a Monday). Although the terms of the invoices are clearly stated as "Upon Receipt", I allowed 30 days before I started calling in my attempt to collect. My first attempt was during the second week of December when I.D. was in the middle of the merger with you. At least that's what Candy personally told me on the phone when I spoke with her and she said she had lost the invoices and could I please fax her copies so she could get a check right out to me. This was the second week of December, not Jan. 5, 2005. All I have to do is look at my phone records to pin point the day and exact time if I have to. She never sent the check as promised. Further phone calls went unanswered and unreturned, both to her and to Brian (how convenient to have caller ID on your cell phones). Emails to them went unanswered. All this happened before Jan. 5, 2005, not after. How many phone calls or emails should it take? Answer: ONE! I seem like a nice person because I am a nice person. I bent over backwards to try and help Brian and Candy. They bought a vacuum pump from someone else and couldn't get it to work right. They couldn't even get in touch with the person they bought it from, so I stepped up and helped them out, which took a lot of time. I even made an a part for them for FREE and sent it to them OVERNIGHT so they could check the vacuum pump. And this is the thanks I get for it? Non payment of invoices and you (probably either Brian or Candy for all I know) implying I'm not a nice person. Yeah, right! How many other vendors do you know who would do that, knowing they bought the POS vacuum pump from someone else? That would be a losing bet for you to make. Do you think I came up with these dates and facts off the top of my head? Wrong, it's because I keep detailed notes and paper work because I know there will be people like the Seiberts along the way. It's Candy who is terrible with paper work. Please explain how you figure I'm the one mostly at fault. On second thought, don't bother. Your response is the typical flip-flop routine people use who owe others money and don't intend to pay it (I know. I used to work for a collection agency). No, ID did not always pay me COD. I sent something one time COD at Brian's request. If they did always pay COD why would Candy FINALLY pay me if the parts were sent COD? I reiterate my point about the one who's terrible about paper work Please tell me what I've said that is false - and be specific. I have all the documentation I need to back up what I've said. Do you??? Sorry, you can't prove that by me. The email David left on all the boards worked for me, and so did the phone number he posted because I called him myself.I don't think I was misled. What is sad is the fact that you are still trying to play this charade. There is only one way you could know a lot of what you posted here. And that's if you are either Brian or Candy. How could anyone at Sign Fab know about my payment terms with ID Signs if there was no affiliation? If it comes to that I'll be glad to. I have all the "legitimate information" I need. Exactly! Just remember that works both ways. And you're treading on thin ice at this point. All my info is below. No need to go to any trouble trying to find those invoices you claim you lost. Can't wait! One more thing: If I'm so at fault for everything, why did Candy hand write a note on the check stub you sent me appologizing for how she handled this and for the delay in paying the invoices? (Yup, that's right, I kept it. Just more of my poor record keeping! Mark Snyder SVP Neon Equipment 113 Leventis Drive Columbia, SC 29209 Ph.
