[Any good Ideas for a table top for the shop?]

I would use 3/4" birtch pywood with a 2'x8' sheet of glass over the weeding and taping portion. It will last forever and won't dull youre blades.

[Panther cutter/plotters?]

I Just bought a new Panther 24" cutter. We are having all kinds of trouble with the machine changing it's origin and building up slack between the rollers. I'm just interested to see if anyone has had any similar problems with the same machine, because I have reverted back to my 10yr old Mimaki which seems to do a faster better job.
