  1. From the pictures it looks like it was well maintained crane?
  2. Have a couple questions about a little, possible project that needs a rotary laser machine capable of doing wine glasses. Anyone?
  3. Follow behind installers in an attic/crawl way type sign. You will always find tools and Lots of materials left behind. Except maybe Eric's installs.
  4. On a serious side, I didn't look at the basket close enough to see, nor did I think older cranes like that had remote. My bad. Congrats on the new company and good luck with it.
  5. You leave the guy stranded? I don't think there is a remote in the basket and he's looking for you.
  6. Wow! Who would have thought. Vented has changed a lot in the past couple years. Transcontinental was a smaller version of what they were, but this is a major change in the landscape. I wish Blake and his brother well.
  7. Not on my phone, tablet, or computer.
  8. Automatically website discusses this same thing. Not real doable, however this post might help... Google Gsview and download it. It might do the job for you. Once you open it, go to Edit menu>Convert to vector format and convert your EPS file to dxf. You will have to rename the converted file to whatever.dxf. Then you can open and edit it in acad.
  9. You, Kgirl, and the kids ...have a wonderful Christmas and a prosperous and exciting year! Stay healthy, watch the blood pressure, and pick your battles wisely.

  11. A super Happy Birthday, and a well done job! You've gone where others feared to tread, and stepped on toes of some that would have preferred that you didnt. Well done to you and Kgirl!
  12. One bird have a missing blue unit? Looks nice...
  13. Good luck to you folks on the coasts getting dumped on. Eric and the west voast get dumped on, and Sean and the Jersey people get killed AGAIN. Must be the democrats..
  14. A shame. Knew him well. Good person in the industry and just a super nice guy.
  15. Anyone seen the newer McDonalds quality signs--- proudly displaying a "Made in China" sticker, but no UL label? Maybe they just forgot it? Since Everbrite has been around, and bought out Fluoresco signs - I just assumed their stuff was Made in the USA ---- guess not.
  16. I've known Corky since I was in high school. He ran a shop in Tempe Arizona. That was long time ago. His neon was done by my dad, and that was back in the days of hand fabrication, etc. My first job at that shop was to dig two 30" x 9' holes ---- by hand using shovels and post hole diggers. He always made it a point of stopping at my dads during the holidays for my mom's fresh baked Christmas cookies, and pumpkin pies. He was a gentleman then, and still is. One of the good guys!! Absolutely one of my dad's favorite people - when he moved to California to start his shop there it was a loss for Phoenix. I've run into Corky a couple times at shows, and once on a trip to California for diving. He has a good memory also --- . Whenever I've passed his old shop - they were closed, but obviously growing. I highly doubt you will ever hear a bad rap on his company -------. Way to go Corky!! I'll tell my mom that you're still well - and still growing. Gary Nutting

  18. 1" aluminum. Thats a chore just getting on table and positioning. Ever chrome that? Nice look.
  19. Hope you are kidding? Noah doesnt use screw drivers..and my old crane was in Phoenix, long before Southwater tried to invent themselves. And your new toy? What color you decide on?
  20. geez guys, you guys are showing your young ages. that type of crane truck used to be the norm. It was a crane, had ladders, some did/did not have a bucket on the end. Most did not have controls in the basket. Please remember this was before they started baskets that had urinals, running water, welding leads, power, etc - AND remote controls. Those were the days, like in my 75' Radocy, that you actually carried your tools, and supplies up the 75' ladder, or whatever. Course that was also back in the days when service men/installers knew how to use and carry an extension ladder to service signs, or use a couple aldders and plank to install a sign. It wasn't ideal for service, but it worked............. gn
