  1. Ah, yes, the old "holier than thou attitude' rears it's head once again! This has been an off and on thing for years, always will be. Egg-heads, one and all. We all need to help one another, whenever we can, the way this economy is going, we may all be rainbow stew and east wind and rabbit tracks, for dessert before it's all over! Peace, Don
  2. Sean, back in the day, Moonlight operations, usually meant you were engaged in, shall we say 'slightly covert operations'. Not to imply that of you, of course. Just pickin', have a good one. Peace Don
  3. MET is new to me. Anyone got any info for me? I am familiar with UL, but am not agreeable with some of their policies. TIA, Don
  4. Time was, you had to be able to speak english, before you were allowed to enter this great country! Oh well, I guess this is the price we pay for chasing the all-mighty dollar! What gripes me, is when you go to another country, you damn well better know how to speak their language, because you won't find any in English, unless you happen to go to an English speaking country. Peace, Don
  5. Glad to see another theatre sign come back. Some of these old signs were very elaborate, with the flashing neon and traveling bulbs. Not many of these still around. Not too many people know how to make them work, what a shame.
  6. Tighten the belt and clean out the fridge boys, tougher times are just around the corner, and the corner gets closer every day! Peace, Don
  7. Sad, but true, Thanks to whoever did this tribute, very well done! May their souls find eternal rest in Heaven. Don
  8. Manuel, I'm sorry if I upset you, glad if you are "amused". LED's stormed onto the scene, as the master cure-all for all lighting needs. Longer lasting, brighter and more economical to operate, etc. I have seen LED's burnt out after less than a year of use. Neon, when properly bent, processed and installed will last for 30 or more years. Operating expense has been proven by others, to be less for neon over the long haul. Both neon and LED's have their places. Peace, Don
  9. In desperate times, desperate men make desperate claims. Figures do not lie, but liars will figure.
