  1. If you don't want it to ever come off use WELD ON 45.
  2. It was in the pics of this job I posted back in 2006. But the pics seem to be gone now. http://www.thesignsyndicate.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1345-theater-marquee-we-just-completed/
  3. I had a 2000 Izusu with an Aichi 85ft staright boom. It was a great truck. I sold it 6 years ago when we went strictly wholesale. I still see it going up and down the road today. 6 cyl auto, turbo with 4 out and down outriggers. It was under CDL, that was the great part.
  4. We are strictly wholesale and had our best year ever.
  5. Jobs like that are tough. In split face block it seams like a lot of holes end up on the edge of a rock not to mention all the different surface levels.
  6. Mall owner/management and property management shows have been good for some.
  7. When I was in the retail biz I made sure our trucks looked good and were well maintained and up to date. We got so many calls from people who saw us going down the road or working on their neighbors sign. Paul, I'm sure you get a lot of biz from your equipment. Some you never even knew came from there. Thanks for making us all look good. All I do is wholesale now but I still like good looking equipment.
  8. I've used them exclusively for at least 5 years. Never had and serious issues. I have had very few failures. I have had the opportunity to buy cheaper but have stuck with Advance because of the history I had with them. I am strictly wholesale and I don't want failures for my customers. I have had so few issues that I have sent new ones without question if there was ever an issue and I have sent very few over this time.
  9. Just try and ignore it and move on. Don't let them rent space in your head. They are thrilled to know it's bothering you. A wise man once told me (my father) don't go around looking for revenge. Just move on and forget it and it'll come back around when you least expect it.
  10. When we did installs years ago, we came in one morning and all the welding leads were gone off of three trucks. Cost about 1200.00 to replace. It's a real smack in the face to working people when they steel your tools of your trade.
  11. The inner ring is what keeps the top one one from breaking the welds.
  12. Had a Mexican rest. here in town that was actually rotating because the inner ring didn't get welded and the top ring broke loose. It was the local weather vein for a few days.
  13. I would be ashamed to go to work in the morning if that's how I did business. I see why he did it, he gets your search traffic as well as his. But that doesn't make it right now, does it?
  14. I'm shocked nobody wants free stuff. That's un-American.

    From the album: day night

3M dual color printed a PMS color and painted trim cap and returns to match. The blotching is the camer not the printing.

  17. If you're gonna do the deed then back it up. Don't lie about like a little kid. Be a man, say "hell yeh, I did it". What a bunch of wanna-be's!

  19. I sell you LED cheaper. Much brighter, you like. We hear of your great business in China.
  20. Integrated Sign in Lexington, Ky has part of it.
  21. I am strictly a wholesaler so I don't do border tubing. I use US LED led's, White, Red and blue. In cabinets I normally use T-12's or T-8's I have always used US LED and had great results.
