About Me

Paul Tripp started his sign career in New Hampshire in 1977 as a shop “go-fer”.  After apprenticing under the late Thomas Bissonnette for over 12 years - honing his skills in wood carving, hand-lettering, design, metal/wood fabrication and post hole-digging - Classic Signs Inc. was born in March of 1989.   As President of Classic Signs, Paul, his two business partners and their team have had the privilege of seeing the sign industry develop in many ways, and have been the recipient of many sign design awards including those from The New Hampshire Sign Association, The United States Sign Council and The Builders Association of Greater Boston.

Paul served multiple terms as President of the New Hampshire Sign Association, where he sat on the MACK Awards Committee for many years, was President of the local Chamber of Commerce, served (2) three year terms on the United States Sign Council Board of Directors and currently serves as a Director for the Northeast States Sign Association.

As a non-Rotarian, Paul was recently honored with the Paul Harris Fellow Award, recognizing his gift of life to a high school friend through kidney donation.

Married for 37 years, Paul and his wife, Becky, live in Amherst, NH and are proud parents of two grown children and grandparents of two.  Paul is dedicated to his church where he currently serves as an Elder and teaches regularly.

Paul enjoys golf, ballroom dancing and working on home construction projects.
