Anyone have 6' of 2 mods per foot laying around they can sell me. Trying to finish off this project and these are a pain in the ass to get a hold of, the 3 mods per foot seem to be more abundant.

Any suppliers reading this I'd greatly appreciate it. These usually go for about $28-30 per foot. I can use paypal to pay

That price is insane :pillepalle:

Careful Marko - some people might chime in and justify that high prices for a product that isnt that bright is worth it....especially if GE loans your end customer a lot of money.

But I agree - robbery is a crime in some countries...but here in LAs Vegas the Sheriff said on the radio the other day that if you get robbed they may not come to your house - they may take the report over the phone!!!! But if you "really want them to come to your robbed house...they can arrange it"

So I guess if you do buy GE parts at $45/ft and get robbed that they might be able to "arrange" getting you the products.

No... less than $35 - part number GEWHXHS2-65K

And our AXLE3WG65-1 is brighter and there are 2 per foot and it cost only $6.50 per foot.

It was pretty amusing the other day when a customer connected our 15VDC product to a 12VDC GE power supply and our products were still brighter. They asked what the lifetime of ours would be if we ran it at 12VDC and I didnt quite now how to answer them...maybe 300,000 hours!

I'm looking at the catalog and I think that is the 2 mod per foot and also the XL, which is the older series power whites?

Call their corporate office and ask for the mobile number of Jim PAtalano - he lives in So California and he can help you. He will know all the details.

We got them in about a month ago, they measure one foot from center to center of three mods. The supply wire is three conductor (two hots and a ground) so that probally means XL.

redarmymember... Is each LED housed in a small white plastic body with a square shaped LED, or is it a round LED inside an bigger body about 1.5" x 1.0"?

The smaller is the Tetra XL and the latter is the Tetra Power, though there is a Power XL also (confusing name selection). It's the Power or Power XL that should be used for this comparison (if you ask me)... their output is the same but their usage is different and you can only cut the Power XL between every 3rd module (silly).

It is inside the bigger body about 1" x 1.5" and yeah it is the silly stuff that you can only cut between every third module.

Well, since Erik is making an 8" x 36" opening, can you supply him with 6' of the stuff for the test?

At 4" centers it would be their absolute brightest option. Considering they advertise that you only need 2 modules per foot, why do they have a 3 mod/ft oftion? If you needed tighter spacing, you could just scootch the regular ones closer together since you have extra wire. With these, you have no choice but to use 50% more modules and power than they advertise.

That's for him to decide - but by the sounds if it - that's what is needed.

No PayPal huh? Would you take an equivalent value of our product in exchange? (You'd get much more footage, so enough for a job and maybe some samples)
