  1. I always call. No exceptions. You don't build a relationship with a vendor w/o actually talking to them.
  2. There's a lot of emotion behind this. Sociologically and psychologically speaking, much of the emotion is rooted in fear and stringent adherence to societal norms. (Remember, norms are perceptions and are not commandments written in stone. But let us not start into a philosophical debate on the word "normal.") If we rewind back to norms of about 100 years ago, my opinion would most likely be ignored due to me being female. Society changes. Much of what is happening now has always existed, but those who are transgender or gay had to live under the radar, many times having to give up certain rights in order to just survive while heterosexual white America remained entitled. Part of this, too, is much of white middle class America suddenly feels cornered and threatened by any minority, realizing that they are quickly becoming a minority themselves. It's a bit odd when the tables are turned, isn't it? It seems to me our, country is blanketed in a pervasive, blinding fear, and operating in fight or flight mode, thus ignoring rational discourse. It's important to have a basic understanding of gender identity in terms of science, not based through religious texts and constructs deemed by society. Step outside of your sandbox for a moment, shake off the sand, and then step into the sandbox of a transgender youth. If you came across this thread then, what would you think? What would be your reactions? What would you do? What if your child was transgender? This doesn't mean you have to conform, it means you have to be compassionate. This isn't about "agendas" or being "PC," it's about being human. Call me a pseudo-Dalai Lama liberal hippie tree-hugging democrat psycho-babbling feminist. I'm ok with that.
  3. I don't even know what to say after reading some of this except...Wow. Wow.

    Wawa

At the time back in 2011 when Wawa was expanding into the state (not sure if this is true any longer), I was told it was Icon. But who wants to do work for Icon when they pay 90-120 days. Not sure who ended up doing the installs back then. It's been a few years since I posted this :)
  5. We ran into this the other day. Thankfully the malware that ended up on the person's computer that opened the attachment wasn't bad. Just had to restart in safe mode w/ networking and run Malwarebytes Anti-malware. If you don't already have this program running on your computer, I recommend it. http://www.malwarebytes.org/
  6. I saw that on the news this morning. Video here: http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2012/07/entire-san-diego-fireworks-show-exploded-in-15-seconds-ruining-show.html I'd hate to be the person that messed that up.
  7. Does anyone know who handles Wawa's signage program on a national level? Thanks!
  8. Heard from a friend in Terra Alta, WV they felt it as well.
  9. Thanks Lance :) Glad to know I wasn't the only one having the problem. I did email them on Friday to let them know, but I haven't heard anything back. I'll try clearing everything out again and see how that goes. Thanks everyone!!
  10. Cleared my cache in Firefox 4, restarted browser, doesn't work. Tried it in Safari. Same thing. Tried in Internet Exploder. Nada. Very frustrating. I'll have to contact them. I keep getting an error telling me I don't have cookies enabled, when in fact I do.
  11. :( Oh well. I'll have to try a different browser. Maybe Signsearch doesn't like Firefox 4.0. Forgot about clearing the cache. Maybe that will help.
  12. Is anyone else having trouble with Signsearch since it was redesigned? I keep getting all sorts of errors, especially one telling me I don't have cookies enabled in my browser. (I do have cookies enabled.) Sometimes the search results just don't load at all.
