Atrium Bar Neon Window Sign
Appx. 4 ft. x 6 ft. window sign, circa mid 1980's. I did the full size graphics/pattern by hand. The only thing I had to go by was the customer telling me his idea over the phone. This was part of a large restaurant / bar complex in Myrtle Beach, SC. We did various other smaller custom neon signs for around the inside of the establishment. This one hung in the front window of the atrium bar that projected from the front of the building. The front window faced US Hwy. 17 (Ocean Blvd.) It was mounted on clear plex. The backside of all the neon was dipped (blocked out). Transformers were mounted in a custom made box above the window, which was painted to match the rest of the surroundings. The GTO was thru conduit, which was also painted to match and was made to look like supports for the sign. I have the main identity sign somewhere.
