I guess I am coming in late to the discussion, but......
As primarilly a service compnay my issues are a little different from fabricators.
I hate that certain items, ie, CPA are no longer available.
I am tired of waitng days for a box of PK housings because they just aren't in stock in San Diego.
I LOATHE GELCORE and their 50 differnt modules and transformers. Thank goodness the 12 Volt 60 watt power supply is here and seems to be the standard unit today.
I do wish I knew more about the manufacturers of LED. I see lots of Hong Kong stuff, and don't know the good from the bad.
Rant OFF!

Cordless Drills

Skip right o over Hilti. Lousy customer service. We had 2 identical small hammer drills that both failed less than 3 years into sevice, ( we don't use these much and never abused them)
I took them to Hilti, told they were out of warranty and that they could look at them for like $110.00, or I could spend a little more and get another Hilti to replace them.
Screw that! I cut the cords off them, threw them in the duimpster, and bought a Bosch to replace them. RANT OFF
Seriously, I would look at Makita or Milwalkie, though Home Depot lifetime wearrnaties their Rigid Drills.
