40 footer is just about worn out. lol I think the sx57 would do along with the wilkie.
-
OK we have a Altec 40' squirt boom that we use 90% of the time on service. We have a Wilkie 87' crane for installs. We have the 73' altec pain in the butt knuckle boom with tandem.
The tandem reaches the high stuff but is too big and cumbersome to do any service with. I would like to get down to just two trucks the wilkie and the new one to handle all. I thought I wanted an SX87 but not a tandem ...since you made a very good point that is out. Looking at a Elliott L65 nice truck but lots of miles. Imput?

hmmm that is a good point. Most of the 87' I have looked at have been on singles
-
That is what I am finding out
-
sooooo you don't like the 87 on a single
-
I think they are all brokers. Funny thing is Monster and Truck max both say the other is a liar and they have the truck lol
-
sx57 and rx87
-
yes looking at the SX series
-
My Monster Equipment and Truck Max Equipment and I see All points Equipment have the same trucks
-
Hell prop neither one can come up with it!!!
-
Ha they both are emailing me saying the other guy is lying that they have the truck. This is getting funny as hell. I wouldn't buy a damn thing from either one of them.
-
what the hell is going on I have two guys trying to sell me the same trucks both say they are on their lot....in different states! Sounds shady to me.
-
Thanks! But now I have two different people trying to sell me the same trucks, telling me the trucks are located in different places. WTF
-
Ok guys I am looking at a new truck. I have narrowed it down to three 2 elliotts and a shyhoist similarly priced.
What is your preference?

A million dollar account isn't worth a dime if you don't get paid.

Having tons of problems with AGI on a job right now.... Terrible fabrication, missing parts, etc. Are any of you guys/gals having the same issues?
-
Hey contacted by them today. Has anybody heard of or worked for them?
-
I have always said I can sit at home watching TV and go broke. Why should I work my ass off to go broke?

Hey nice little piece on Paul Signs. Congrats Paul, you make us all look good.
Ladder trucks vs standard bucket?

We have had a Altec 41' articulating for years and worked fine. Most jib winches I have seen on utility trucks won't work very well for sign guys ( they don't come up high enough from the bucket).
Right now we are preparing to buy a Shyhoist or Elliott in the 60' range and guys tell me I'll never look back. So as soon as I find the right one I will post How I like it.
