  1. Thank you Nancy, I like dry reading. I will go read that.

I think I came up with a way to make money off that - "you are hearing this advertisement on your old AM and FM radios - you are probably hearing this in your car because most all other electronics are not working - but alas we are a voice in this internet less world. So if you cannot complain about vendors on the Sign Syndicate, you cannot post what you are eating for lunch on Facebook, and you are unable to get all those great deals on Groupon or possibly connect with everyone on Linkedin... we have something else you can do... we are sure that your local grocery store has lost power and has been looted and all the cold beer for this rainy day has been taken...but we have a solution of what to do....spend time with your family because your TV and all the reality TV will not be on and Madmen will have taken a break....learn something new about the people you share your home with and have some fun. And then, when the power has returned and you have countless stories to tell about how it was an eye opener to you and how it saved your marriage, saved your family, saved you lots of money in divorce settlements, and also all the money it saved you from buying products you saw on TV commercials and Google Ads... after you realize how we helped you recognize how being disconnected could change your life.... well then, please mail us $1 to - AxiomLED."

    Hahahaha

  2. There is not a single thing anyone can do but I do think it is important for people to be aware. They are only going to get worse. In a recent report it was suggested that the USA power grid would be one of the most affected systems of the world in the event of a massive solar flare.

    Buy lots of batteries!!!

  3. I guess we are a little ahead of our time since we started only selling direct 6 years ago!

Paying a "Finders Fee" to distributors is not unusual - this was done in the semiconductor electronics field almost a decade ago - and it has worked. It often times gave the distributor the track record and ammunition to justify stocking a given product... "cart after the horse"

  4. AxiomLED has announced that it too has lowered its pricing on its LED products through the end of April 2012.

AxiomLED has made its low product pricing even more cost effective at prices discounted as much as 50%.

The difference is that customers do not have to seek a rebate for the discount.

The latest product AxiomLED has introduced to the reduced pricing challenge is its new T8 LED tube that mimics a T8 fluorescent by providing a smooth linear light surface, daylight 5000 Kelvin output, equivalent lumen output, and only consuming 20 watts vs 32 watts for fluorescent.

See AxiomLED discounted pricing which you can purchase DIRECT online: http://store.axiomled.com/dealoftheday.asp

  5. And I use to work at a company in this space that did this as well suing GE, Sloan, US LED, ElectraLED, etc... it is either done to eliminate the competition, to augment income through licensing which means higher unit prices from the company sued... but you are right... the market is so competitive right now I think we will see lots of lawsuits again.

I respect patent law but always think it is crazy that the attorneys make most of the money.

  6. Orlando, FL - International Sign Association (ISA) Show

Only $1.25 Each - Now Available in North America

AxiomLED has announced that it has begun volume shipments in North America for its AXLE9-SW65 white LED for signage and channel letter applications.

'The AXLE9-SW65 is the brightest and the lowest cost per linear foot system in the world,' stated Manuel Lynch, CEO of AxiomLED. 'We have had massive adoption of this product in places around the world doing major brand conversions and we are now bringing this product to North America.'

The AXLE9-SW65 sells for $1.25 each and is over 100 lumen each, 20-40% brighter than other 'Value' products offered by manufacturers of LED lighting systems for the sign industry. The AXLE9-SW65 uses Nichia of Japan patented white LED technology and boasts an 80,000 hour lifetime.

The AXLE9-SW65 features innovative interconnect technology that allows sign fabricators to use as few as one part to as many as fifty (50) parts per power supply. The AxiomLED PS60HS12 ruggedized weather proof power supply is only $25.00 in low volume and under $20.00 in high volume.

'Not only are we bringing the North American market the lowest cost and highest value LED line but we are also showing customers why our power supplies are used by major companies around the world,' commented Lynch. 'We have several hundred of this power supply used on the signature globe that sits on top of the Revel Casino in Atlantic City that is about to open.

The AXLE9-SW65 is covered by a standard 5 year warranty.

Sign companies can purchase this product online directly from AxiomLED at:

  7. You will see what the cap is for when we roll out the complete product line this year. You know me, big focus on 3rd world markets...but fits another market here in the States. Thanks for comments Gary - would be great to have a photo with you and the light!

Didn't think about that...might take one on my 5am walk with the dogs - trying to do 2-3 miles a day. Already lost 25lbs!

  8. In desperate times, desperate men make desperate claims. Figures do not lie, but liars will figure.

Now that is downright amusing. We are being used all over the world and I was wondering why not more usage in the USA... and you sell neon.

    And we are desperate?

Thank you for the laugh - amused me.

I love neon but believe it is now a dying art and that is what makes it even more beautiful and artistic. But that is just my opinion.

People's success with our products - that is not an opinion - it is just a fact I was sharing.

  9. Ok John, sounds like you have no interest in trying the product. The reason I brought this up is because GE, USLED, and other solutions for fluorescent retrofit solutions are a joke and cost way too much.

Our new system is almost 20X brighter than systems of just awhile ago:

TESCO (Walmart of Europe) uses our product in their large cabinet signs. They used our AXLE3 product. http://www.axiomled.com/AxiomLED/Examples/Entries/2011/6/1_AxiomLED_Lights_Signage_for_TESCO_Stadium_in_Czech_Republic.html

We did an exhaustive study with an early version of the product at the main airport in Auckland New Zealand which just held the 3rd most watched sporting event in the world - Rugby World Cup - a lot of people walked right past a big bright Vodka sign that has been LEDs for several years without any issues.

    http://www.axiomled.com/AxiomLED/Examples/Entries/2009/11/13_Auckland_Airport_replaces_fluorescent.html

So we can run test after test after test - but I think the best way for any sign company to prove if our products will work for them is to try them out.

You sell signs - you see what you want your customer to see. We make lights/guts - we just try to make them very high performance and very low cost. We will not try and be a sign company - that is what you do and what you specialize in... we specialize in electronic systems (and LEDs are just a small portion of what our company does - we even make power supplies for guitar amplifiers!)

So how about we agree that you try and convince Erik at Sign Syndicate to light box test of a 48" wide by 24 " tall box that compares fluorescent to other solutions. I am sure someone can offer to print a beautiful multi color digital display that shows color rendering capabilities, etc. And we will send samples of all of our products for testing... like we always have.

We make mistakes from time to time - but one this one I can tell you that some people are really reaping the rewards of progressively showing their customers the value of switching to the Axiom LED AXLE6XB technology.

Thanks for your comments John - I do appreciate and respect your expertise and questions.

  10. 1. The parts being tested in the Great White Hope are our AXLE3 series and AXLE9 series - the part I am referring to is our AXLE6XB series. And please note that we treat the tests on this site very seriously and use it improve our product performance.

    2. The Nichia LED we are using is indeed providing us the ability to provide phenomenal results. I think there is a reason Apple selected them for the iPad.
