We have a corporate client that we have worked with for over 15 years, and on occasion they are required to get other quotes just to see if they are being charged a fair price. Recently they contacted a sign company (part of this companies name is “Wholesale Signs”) and on their website they state “Wholesale to the trade – Not your competition” for a quote. The quote they received was $7.25 per upright inch with double stroke Sloan LED. We are a fully automated retail sign manufacturer and wholesale to some of the local sign shops here, but wholesale to the public, never!
I know times are hard but this hurts everybody, we were able to retain this customer, but had to lower our already low price. Any thoughts on the subject?
