Hey everyone,
I have a couple of larger jobs coming up and a bit of money out in receivables. How does factoring work? My understanding is that they pay you 95%, or so, of the invoice for quick payment, vs. waiting the full term.
1) Any companies that you would recommend?
2) What terms should be built in to ensure that an invoice is 'factorable'?
Any other tips/suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks.

We are a small, but growing sign shop that is looking for a great salesperson to lead the charge. We aren't looking for the salesperson that complains about the economy. We're looking for a hunter that will make the most of every opportunity.
We see the current economic conditions as an opportunity to grow and build for the future. Our team is everything and we believe our team members must share in our success. We have a great compensation plan with profit-sharing for the right person.

Jeff was an incredible guy. I bought an existing sign company about 8 years ago and was looking for a mentor. I met Jeff through CSA and we had several lunches together. He was gracious enough to share years of experience with me. Kudos to Mark for stepping up to help a great company and a great family!
