3rd hand not approved at all. Its easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. Tail lights aren’t enough in Toronto either.

My opinion from my experience in Canada
****STAY AWAY FROM I-CRANE/SKYLIFT - NEW OR USED, THEY ARE JUNK AND OUT OF BUSINESS****
CRANE AVAILABILITY IN CANADA IS LIMITED, ELLIOTT IS MORE COMMON, I WOULD LIKE TO TRY MANITEX OR THE ALTEC SIMILAR TO L60 STYLE
ELLIOTT V60 FOR EVERYDAY UNDER 400LB INSTALLS/SERVICE IS WHAT I USE, COMPACT AND RELIABLE ON ANYTHING BUT A POWERSTROKE IN CANADAS WEATHER
ELLIOTT L60 FOR EVERYDAY OVER 400LB INSTALLS/SERVICE/PYLONS
VANLADDER LADDER TRUCK WAS GOOD TO ME, A LITTLE LIGHT DUTY, WE BUSTED IT UP, GOOD SERVICE FROM THEM
TELE-LIFT WARWICK 40' LADDER RELIABLE, EASY TO FIX, BUT YOUR ASS MUSCLES HURT FROM CLIMBING UP AND DOWN THE TRUCK ALL DAY, DOESN'T GO TO THE GROUND WHEN YOU ARE IN THE BUCKET
RH LADDERS UP TO 50' LADDER TRUCK, NEW MODELS GO TO GROUND.
SKYHOOK 64 JUNIOR GOOD STARTER CRANE IF OHSA ISN'T AROUND, GOOD LUCK FINDING PARTS
WILKIE 65 CRANE A FRIEND OF MY HAS ONE IT'S STRONG, NO BUCKET, OLDER MODEL
ALTEC AUGER TRUCK 50' IT WILL NEVER BE A PITMAN P50 AUGER TRUCK, BUY A SHOVEL
AVOID FIBERGLASS BUCKETS IF YOU CAN, CAN'T STICK YOUR TOES OUT TO HOLD A SIGN FACE
THATS ALL I GOT FOR NOW

your customer, your problem. I deal with you, you owe me.

okay it's been a few years since I was taken by Skylift for a joy ride. I think it's time to make people aware again. I am still getting emails of people hoping I can help because they also got taken. Do I need to make a video???? Send me footage of your junk box by our friends at Skylift
BTW- Elliott feel free to send me a sample of a new V60 (on a dodge) or L60 for a sample to show in my video.

Thats because a “service coordinations company” called and said we will give you 300 shinny bucks NTE

sometimes you just have to let the competition weed themselves out
-
You have to do tape and silicone together always, many facilities drop the temperature over night to save energy and all the signs fall off the wall.

looks like he is selling elliott and manitex now in NC Sam Marcum Southern Crane Trucks.
-
Yes. The best site. Also remember to stay away from Sam Marcum or Icrane or Skylift. I’m not sure what other names he has, just be careful .

Ls87 base looks skimpy. Why?

You are correct Paul, forgot about the PARTS. Downtime really kills.

Common sense is free and some people refuse to use it. To me it looks like they were trying to get famous on YouTube

Hey everyone,
Thought I would gather your thoughts on weather or not one can be successful in offering install and service only. I have been doing it for a few years in colorful Colorado, on my own and have seen modest success but I'm trying to find some growth opportunities, call it a 5 year plan, and wondering if a business plan based on install only can be a successful long term plan.
Thanks in advance,
Brian
You bet you can

i wouldn’t classify them as fully legit Canadians. We have a large section of the outer Toronto area where they all seem to find a licence.
