  1. I showed up at the beach at 3:15 Saturday and got everything ready for a fun tournament. A few people out there with bon fires but not as many as I thought. About 5Am I called my friend to see where they were and his wife answered not to happy. She put him on and He gave me a piece of his mind. The main jist of his lecture was that it was 5Am and the tournament was on Sunday :damm:

Well to make things worse if I went home I would've woke the wifey up and she wouldn't be to happy either so I fished untill 10ish. The only thing I caught was a good buzz. When I got home I told her that I made a mistake about the tournament and that it was a 2 day one and not a one day event so I came home early to spend some quality time.

I only caught a few small blues and some oyster crackers Sunday.

Have a good week everyone. Surfs up.

  2. Thanks,

Another year down and a few more to go. Went Fishing all weekend and got nothin else done.

Had a blood bath with the blue fish on 2 back to back charters. 7:30 am to 2:30 am. My arms hurt, then to relax I spent sunday on the beach fishing for stripers and catching up on

Luckily I dont have to work this week at night :damm: so I can take my son crabbing and work around the new house.

    Have a great week all.

  3. We watched it on TV live also but being only about 20 miles away was strange. On my way home there was no traffic except for an endless line of fire trucks and ambulances and military convoys heading towards the city along with a whole s**t load of fighter jets circling the area. There is one spot on the highway that when you peak the hill you have a view of the city and everyone had just stopped on the side and was stareing. I have never seen anything like that before. Everything was basically on lock down cause there is a very strong presence of military bases in NJ. Seeing the smoke for a few weeks was unspeakable. I went to the beach that evening to see what I could see and looking out over the Ocean. Picture this, a smoke stack that was spewing an endless amount of smoke in a line going out to sea that follows the horizon about 500 feet up of Olive colored smoke as far as the eye could see. THe jetties and beaches were full of people not talking and just staring. Thanks for a wind that blew everything offshore or the resperatory problems would have been extremely worse than what was experienced. The only way to desribe the way it smelled was when I woke up in the AM everything smelled as if you pissed on a campfire. My neighbor lost 14 friends from his fire department. He was on vacation when it happened. He brought me large ziplock bags of liquid mud from the site. I sealed it up into neon tubes for the families of lost ones. It turned back into concrete when it dried.

It was a horrifying experence to be that close but also so far away. Our other Tech that has just left us was working in the city when it happened saw the whole thing and felt the world move when they fell.

    Bless them all

  4. Since I quit visiting that site many moons ago, I treat it as I do the "rags" at the check-out counter; I look, but don't touch and don't buy. Apparently, so do most people if they give it even that much attention. Also, that's the first post from the "Velvet Fog" I've seen in a long time anywhere. He may still be licking his wounds. Jack and Sean - two peas in a pod.

    Excuse me

Did you just put me in the same pod !!!!! I fly solo, do not try to peddel used junk and am very offended Joseph.

....or are you reffering to the other Sean

Answer to the riddle is " niether, the Rooster came first"

    :thumbs::P

  5. Reading this the keyword that jumps out is "Company" not individual. So I gather if you are an individual not representing a company then the "Terms of Posting" become mute. Just an observation......

If you pay taxes as a buisness then you are a company. Not that I care

How ya been Freddy? Long time no hear, how are things going?

You may however reply directly to messages seeking a product or service that you provide, however we ask that you respond specifically to the need of the original post and the response doesn't end up being a commercial for your company."

    Directly from the rules.

What do you think would happen if I put something up?

    Should I try???

  7. Which month?

We do not have it here so we called Chris and asked him to fax it to us. He said we wont get the August edition for another week or so. He was kinda hesitant to send it. Can someone who has it fax it to me.

    1-908-508-1122 Attn: Sean

    Thanks in advance

Just got it faxed over. quality reading time.

I read it but have to a few more times to absorb it. My first opinion was, well ya know what I thought. Read it again and it seems that neon has stood the test of time and is still going. I would like to read the other mentioned authors though.

  8. It's the little things no one pays attention to.

It seems everything starts over there one way or another. Bring back napalm and make one big iceskating rink. seal them into the ground.

I did a google on WW3 and one of the first ones I looked at brought up a good point that I never thought of.

    A "nuclear induced Tsunami"

I can just picture them launching something and our people watching it then when they see that it is just going to land in the ocean they all just shrug it off until 15 minuites later half the country is gone.

If it happens it happens, I cant leave Jersey for another 20 years or so.
