  1. On my 77SR I have the welder through bolted and mounted right behind the lamp bins / cab. Then I ran the cables under the bed to the back of the bed. My truck has a lockable lead box on the back of the bed. Works out awesome. Just unlock the box and pull the leads out. On my 57, I keep the leads in a locked bin. My small 43 bucket just has a generator w/o welding capabilities.

If I don't close my back gate. People will just help themselves to my yard. They will come in any time of the day. I had signs posted, but they've been stolen so many times I quit putting them back up.

  2. Screw that crap. Been down that road too many times... Labor is more expensive than new substrate. Not to mention the time you'll never get back. We do not remove vinyl from anything, unless it's a glass surface.

I realize my post didn't help you out in any way. Maybe try a 12 gauge shotgun at a 75 degree angle, with a dove load. Or a torch? I suck, still no help.

  3. Get them all the time. Fake ones....Real ones...(joke). When you cursor over the BBB email address, it gives you another email address. It doesn't work, I've tried to send nasty messages to it. Some people sure have nothing better to do than to make life difficult for the working stiffs.

  4. Ron, I would never be caught dead wearing a WWJD bracelet. Not that there's anything wrong with someone wearing one...It's not me.... I'm not gong to personally attack you, but there is free healthcare for people now. Other people foot the bill via taxes and higher insurance premiums, but it is available.

All I did was answer the questions in your previous post. You obviously don't agree with me. But please don't put words in my mouth, or on my wrist.

I guess you don't like my Anarchist- Libertarian point of view.

  5. Gonna jump in, I'm not defending anyone. But come on Ron.. You want the definition of a deadbeat? Let's start off with; The baby machines, who kick out a kid every year or so, or father them. They abuse the system like a drug addict does coke. They do zero for their community, country, or themselves. Then claim it's their right to continue to bring more children into this world on the tax payers dime.

The $10.00 an hour guy who doesn't have insurance...Been there done that, I was a kid then. Healthcare is always available for FREE at any County Hospital. May take a little longer, but it is available. You have to start somewhere in life. Hard work pays off soon enough, and you elevate yourself. IF you make the right life decisions.

The $20.00 an hour guy with the three kids.....Same for him, Healthcare is available for him and his children. Regardless that he lacked the common sense to have 3 kids on $20.00 an hour. But at least he has a house and has car insurance. This is his personal choice to be broke. No one should have to pitch in for that decision.

Job creation, real simple. We have a crumbling infrastructure throughout this country. There's a ton of folks that don't do shit and rely on the gov to care for them and their kids. They get shovels and start working for their gov money. The ones who can't do the physical work can make box lunches or watch all them babies. Once people learn an honest days work won't kill them. Possibly they may choose to work their way up by educating themselves or learning a trade. If they choose to do nothing, screw them. Cut them off the gov teet...They'll get cold and hungry and find something to do.

If there is no work in your geographical location, or you can't afford to live someplace...MOVE!

This country was not built by the Fed gov. It was built by our hardworking forefathers. They did it all on their own. They established the schools, hired the teachers, built the hospitals, built roads to get their goods to market, cleared the land....Hard work built this country and can save this country... Karma is for Pussies!

  6. Since the Fed Gov has done such an outstanding job with ; Public Education system, Social Security, Welfare and it's reform, Medicare, Medicaid, Public Housing, Alternative Energy, EPA & OSHA regulations, controlling spending, slashing the deficit, and achieving a Federal Budget for the past 3 years. They might as well get into everyone's medical insurance.

After all, Medical insurance coverage, or lack there of, is synonymous with the I.R.S..

  7. I understand we're all doomed...At this point all I can do is shake my head. I've decided the next time I end up working for minimum wage or less. The wife and me are having a fire sale, and permanently moving to our other home. My evil plan is in place for my departure from the sign world. It involves flipping burgers or bagging groceries, and fishing. We'll live on love and leftovers...

  8. I"m rebuilding an old arrow sign which has 11 watt incandescent bulbs. I've seen some L.E.D.'s light bulbs at one time that change color. I'm not able to flash or chase due to city code. So I'm thinking the color change bulbs should fly. Does anyone know a source where to get these magic bulbs? This would be for an exterior application, and would need about (x150).

  9. Don't know if you've dealt with storm surge before. Everything floats, and you get a bunch of nasty mud. But on a positive note, you get a bunch of new crap on your property you never thought you'd have. I got an ambulance one time in Galveston. Stay high and dry! You'll be in my thoughts.
