Paul, you do your letters by hand right? I thought thats what you said to me on the phone?

What is the consumable? is it just sheet acrylic? I would love to see a video of this in action. Looks amazing

I will be looking for a newer/bigger dump truck this year.
-
anyone see the altec sign crane prototype? My buddy who helped collaborate with design got to drive it home to his shop to test it for a week or two. I cant wait to see it.
-
Ok, I wonder if a place like outwater plastics would make something like that
-
have you looked at wagner zip change and gemini tracking?
-
most of them without "family plans" will likely scrap their personal phone when you get them one for work, you should ask them to pay for some of it.
-
I love when people post this stuff!
-
perfect job to invest in one then. please report back with what you buy and how well it works!
-
did you get a huge job? how many do you need to do? we get by fine with our manual. Im waiting for the job of 100+ to justify one of those.
-

-
you could find a beefier machine in good shape used for that price. Check around locally

GRID SIGNS, PA. is going to auction. It appears all their equipment and materials will be sold at auction on Oct 11, 2011. Full equipment lists are available at Quakercityauctioneers.com
Another sign company gone,
Yup went and looked at their equip about a month ago. It is all nice stuff but the prices they were asking was unreal. I will probably be bidding on a few things hopefully the prices stay resonable. If anyone has any questions about the condition of anything you can ask me, I took a pretty good look at it all.

They both look like nice trucks. One thing I would like better though is a pistol grip control in the basket to allow one handed operation on multiple movements in case you have to hold on to a sign face and come down at the same time.
I dont know of any cranes that have pistol grip squirt controls. You have an 85' radocy with upper controls right? Its the same on all them. elliot. skyhook, skyhoist, manitex, i crane. Most people with decent size hands should be able to do two controls with one hand as long as they are next to each other. Sure would be great but not common. One of my favorite features on my one bucket truck

sure do like the color ill give you that! whats the gvw on that? air brakes? Have you had any trouble with those f650/750 chassis? I have "heard" of engine troubles. Is this one set up for the auger? never was crazy about the idea of using the boom as an auger. So much stress put on it

I must have been working in the basket on a job because I never felt it. Everyone back at the shop did though
-
everyone in my company knows they will be fired on the spot if I see them not wearing them properly. What baffles me is I drive around and see all these verizon telephone server trucks with the 32' telsta lifts and not one of these guys wears a harness. Now these guys have got to be a union, how in the heck do they get away with not wearing them?? Never have I ever seen them wear one, even the local city, the guys fixing stop lights, not harness.
-
nice job you must have made out like a bandit on that one
-
did you spray the paint or roll and brush it? what paint did you use. how many people did you have on the job.
