  2. Hey Guys,

I need a wholesale supplier for a digital printing job. I am looking for someone to do a bunch of printing for me for a high school here. I did some neon signs for them last year and they have requested some ideas about how to promote athletics in the halls of the high school. I suggested that we could do some graphics on perforated vinyl and apply them to the glass of offices throughout the high school halls. I need something that when the graphic is applied, one will be able to see out from the inside but not see in from the outside.....any suggestions?

    Hello Dave,

Sorry, I'm a little late to the game... (thanks for the plug Erik) We do have quite a bit of experience with Perf and can also ship to you. We run a Mimaki JV4 and a Kodak 1200i. If you're still looking, please feel free to drop me an email (joanne@powerflowcommunication.com) or call with specs for the job and we'll be happy to get you a quote.

    Best Regards,

  3. We may go to ISA. We have friends with a shop in Vegas that we can stay with. We're not sure if we'll go because if we're busy, we need to stay here and work to pay for the recent expansion we did at the end of last year! we've been to both ISA and SGIA in Vegas...we like both but SGIA is a bit more stuff for us digital folks, I think. It would be nice to go though and as Erik said "put some faces with names.

    Take care, Jo

  4. Thanks all for your responses...you're real funny Erik :harhar:

We are expanding our shop here and have a potential new customer that could allow us to purchase some equipment we've had our eyes on ever since we came back from SGIA Vegas. We do a lot of printing right now that we print digitally onto adhesive back vinyl, laminate and then mount onto substrate...Sintra, Dibond, Coro, Plexi and the like. It would be so much more productive for us to print direct to substrate. We've got our eye on the new Mimaki flatbed (that won't be out until early next year, we saw it at the show) and we've got a guy from Colorspan willing to make us a good deal on the UVX so, now all we have to do is come up with the dough!

    Anyway, thanks again.

    Oh and CHARGERS ROCK! :wootsmiley:

  5. Hi all,

I was wondering if any of you have any experience with either of these flatbed printers? Good or bad. Or any experience with any digital UV Curable flatbed printers? Any information positive or negative would be appreciated.

Thanks have a great weekend, and GO CHARGERS!!!! :wootsmiley:

  6. Well if it makes anybody feel better, we're going for mostly business anyway, no gambling just some eating, drinking and A LOT of time at the exhibits. Got it all mapped out who we want to see and talk to...got to keep current and we're thinking about new equipment on down the road...I'll try to report back and let ya all know if it was worth it!

    P. S. Was it cool to see The Saints back in the Dome or WHAT!!!?

    Take care

  7. Hi all,

Anyone going to SGIA? We just decided to go...we have friends with a shop there and free passes from our vendors so....we're going Wed. - Fri. Anybody else going? Hey, how 'bout those Chargers?! Looking good! :wootsmiley:

    Take Care

  9. Yeah, we're in Perris (3 miles from the lake) about 15 miles away from the epicenter. The thing that scares me is that if it was centered there, it's probably the San Andreas...hasn't been much activity there lately don't need to wake up that gentle giant! We finally knew that our phone was working when a customer of ours from Memphis called! The radio is still reporting no damage or injuries...thank goodness.

  10. Yeah, I have lots of dreams about em and it seems like when I haven't had any thoughts about quakes for a long while...we start shakin' They said that the small one here and the 7.0 up north were not related. Yeah, my honey says that the small shakers are good for relieving pressure and fending off the big one too.

Oh my gosh! PLEEEEEZ no BIG ONE! There might not be any place left to put those signs!

Keep On Shakin' And Bakin'! Rockin' and Rollin'!

    :drummer:

  11. Yeah Daddy!

I've been here all my life and they still scare me! BUT we were so busy yesterday we didn't even know about it until the 11pm news...I know it was up north but did any of you CA peeps feel anything? We are in Riverside county and we felt the one on sunday morning pretty good but nothing yesterday.

Woo hoo surfing to Denver!!! HA!
