I probably wont help much here, I don't have a preference, I just love the content presented thru your website. So just keep up the good work, either format!

I am a self-employed Architectural & Electrical Sign designer that telecommutes from home, coffee shops and libraries. I use a "mobile office" A.K.A a laptop compute to do all of my work.
For now, I am restricting myself to just working from home, as the library and the coffee shops are closed
As long as the internet is running, I can do my work from my end.
However, my clients in California are now under orders form the state government that their brick and mortar manufacturing facilities and offices are closed as of today.
I can work as usual by sending and receiving information via email, but since there is no accounting, it is doubtful that I will be getting payment on open invoices. This really hurts me financially as I had a three month drought in work this past winter. Cie La vie.....Just thankful to be virus-free and safe at home.
So... I took some creative time for some COVID-19 levity by designing this decal suitable for laptop computers. etc.
It has a western "Cowboys and Indians" theme, with native American warriors replaced with COVID-19 viruses LOL:

I LOVE this place and the subject matter being presented - as FACTUAL - based on logic, reason and rationale, not just pure speculation, assumptions or the "emotions" that tend to get buried in fear of what someone will think, or how it might make someone uncomfortable, with dealing with the REAL issue(s). if it looks like $h!t, Smells like $h!t, and leaves a $h!tty taste in your mouth it is most likely, $h!t. When people don't stand up for something, they ultimately fall for just about anything (and usually do, based upon what the court of public opinion renders a "majority rules" verdict...ie; various social media) KEEP UP THE GOOD WORKS - IT MAKES A DIFFERENCE, HOWEVER inSIGNificant it may seem at the moment...? Those who know, are resolved as to what needs to be, those who don't yet, are simply trying to survive amidst the chaos and confusion around them.

I am on board with everything you have stated. sometimes what is obvious to some, is oblivious to most... We are UL shop and what a crock! what a hassle! what are we supposed to do about this only part that doesn't have a "recognized" e number that has worked for us the previous 30 years but - it don't have an e #.... ?

well familiar with, and love me some neon projects, but aside from the longevity of the led's (which we all know the technology changes daily) - the formed plastic isn't as fragile as neon (if exposed of course) and deserves some consideration. I've seen some of the less than desirable stuff other manufacturers have put out to compete with neon and just offering that Gemini, in my opinion, leads the charge in alternatives here. Yeah, clients are always leaning towards cheapest and fastest, but I like to point out or reinforce quality does cost you up front, but pays dividends over time.

I might suggest Gemini Sign products, they have a very nice custom formed letters w/ led illumination that they are simply calling "faux neon" for the moment, sounds like a remedy to all interested parties possibly? it is the script looking 'A' - this stuff looks really nice, lights up solid, and looks very durable, anxious to try it ourselves and expect to soon, will post pics when we do...'

Proper steps for any capable sign company is #1 thorough on site survey to assess conditions. Insurance company is going to be involved and they are going to price shop it much as they can get sign companies to quote it. They are probably going to jack it up some more just getting that rig out! Top section might be salvageable, tenant section, might be able to save some faces but that depends on how they get the trailer out. I'm thinking there is a UPS driver filing for unemployment benefits...
