We have an immediate position available for an experience sign ins Sign Installers required for a high volume installation company based in south Richmond. Our company has been servicing the BC area for 10 years. This is a full-time, long term position & we offer training and competitive wages. The ideal candidate will have: Experience working with bucket trucks,aerial lifts,cranes and ladders. Experience working with electrical components ie: Neon,Florescent, LED. Working knowledge of a wide variety of power and hand tools. Excellent problem solving skills. Great customer service skills. A valid BC driver's license Be organized,punctual,have good work habits and a fantastic attitude. Able to work after hours and weekend if necessary. The principle duties and responsibilities of the Install and Service Tech consist of, but are not limited to the following: Attend weekly safety meetings Keep a safe and clean job site at all times. Maintain trucks and tools. Read and review work orders in detail; high quality installation of signs. Welding aluminum and steel, mig & tig Take surveys Customer Service as needed at job site. Take Photos Get Customer Signature Make good work order notes. Keep good communication and notes for any extras, challenges, revisions. Call before leaving job site if schedule cannot be met. Update of inventory and maintenance needed for your area REQUIREMENTS Must have good mechanical aptitude. Must have good judgment and follow through with tasks. Must have a valid Class B CDL or willing to acquire within 90 days of hire. Must have a great ability to distinguish colors. Must have the ability to double check load before leaving, safely pull a trailer, and load packages properly. General electrical experience is requirement. Must be able to work in elevated positions (heights) and willing to work outside of normal hours when required. Must have the ability to regularly lift 75 lbs and occasionally lift up to 100+ lbs. Must have ability to stand for up to 10 hours a day with occasional breaks.
