Signs Plus was founded in 1992 in the beautiful city of Bellingham, WA. Signs Plus has 31 full time employees that make up the team, and are currently looking to add fabricators in our manufacturing department. Responsibilities of this position include; fabricating and repairing a variety of metal and plastic sign products both illuminated and non-illuminated. Job requirements include but not limited to: The ability to read and interpret drawings, plan and layout work, set up and operate machinery such as shears, brakes, rollers, horizontal band saws, etc. The ability to weld steel and aluminum products. The ability to sand and prep signs prior to painting. Knowledge of UL requirements. Must be knowledgeable in various types of lighting such as LED, Fluorescent, Incandescent, Neon, etc. as used in the fabrication of signs. The ability to cut, bend and form sign parts along with the ability to lift or move up to 80 pounds. Job consists of 8 hour shifts and employee is regularly required to stand, walk, lift and reach with hands and arms.
