Is anyone using an alternative listing agency (NRTL) to Ul such as ETL or MET? I attended a UL seminar and they are about to make doing business with them 10X more time consuming than it already is and more expensive so I am wanting to know if anyone has suceess with another agency

Costs are going up again? To what? It's already $1,100 annually and $420 per quarter. Plus what ever stupid seminars they want you to take to relearn they've already told you, or something that can all be read from a manual.

The additional documentation depending on the amount of UL listed signs you produce could be quite substantial. We looked at MET but I could not get them to send me a list of subscribers to contact and see if they like it. I tried a fairly long time ago contacting ETL with not any success. I am not sure but as of now I dont think anyone else of the 9 agencies that are given the authority by OSHA offer anything yet.
