Signs Plus Inc. – A Pacific Northwest leader in custom signage and theming is looking to add an experienced Sign Fabricator to our team.

Signs Plus Inc is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator to join our team of craftspeople. Our ideal candidate should possess an understanding of basic sign fabrication, manufacturing, and construction methods along with a broad knowledge of industry materials, finishes, and processes.

 

Signs Plus fabricators produce one-of-a-kind, high fit and finish, electrical signage, and lighting features. Fabricators work with our technical staff and read shop drawings to realize the client’s vision. You will be challenged with developing fabrication strategies, building prototypes, fitting, welding, preparation for paint, assembly, wiring, etc. Everything that goes into building signs from the basic structure to the wiring to the assembly. Rarely are two days ever the same!

TOP PAY for a skilled craftsperson

 

Applicants must have previous fabrication experience with the following:
1. Monument and pylon signs, including custom formed cabinets
2. Wall sign cabinets, channel letters, halo-lit letters, and “push-through” variations
3. Wiring of electrical components for LED and (on occasion) Neon, to NEC Code/UL Standards
4. Use of metal forming equipment including shears, brakes, and saws of all types
5. Welding procedures for both aluminum and steel
6. Ability to read plans and interpret technical documents and drawings
7. Able to stand for long periods and lift to fifty (50) lbs.
8. Prior experience with the installation of signs is a plus, but not required.
