  1. After so many re--re-retrofit jobs using failing or inferior Chinese LED products it's time to just cut their cord, untwist the wire connectors and disconnect the problem and replace with a superior LED product NOT made in CHINA!!! And of course I'm talking about our "Reckless" LED line by NC LED. This is one of those jobs where the client was sold on "Energy Efficiency" and "Saving" over Neon, which was the light source on their previous Channel Letter set. Well....after the original signs company who installed this set pulling out the original JS LED modules, replacing with their newer, then another company replacing the individual JS LED failures with another Chinese LED.....JT LED modules. Those savings turned into high Sign Repair costs and headache for repairs needed quite often for these Highway viewable signs that leaves this establishment a black eye. With all the benchmark testing we have done here on the Sign Syndicate we know what the Chinese LED modules measure up, and what we can expect from our NC Reckless LED's. Constant Current NOT Constant Voltage, Brighter true white 6500K and most importantly high quality standards because their NOT made in CHINA. End result, Brighter and Even illumination at night and NO return trips for a Loooooong time. Eventually and soon, all these letters will have to be replaced because the catastrophic failure is coming! UH OH REPLACING CHINA FOR MORE CHINA REPLACING CHINA WITH OUR NC RECKLESS LED'S. LESS MODULES AND BIGGER SPACING FAILING CHINESE LED LIGHTING (BEFORE) RENEW WITH NC RECKLESS LED'S (AFTER) HARD TO SHOW WITH A IPHONE SHOT, BUT IN REAL TIME THE DIFFERENCE IS DRASTIC. THERE IS ONE OTHER LETTER RETROFIT FROM OVER A YEAR AGO USING OUR RECKLESS....CAN YOU FIND IT? THIS LOGO HAS NEVER LOOKED THIS BRIGHT BEFORE YES, OUR AD. A Lot of our sales come from Sign Shops who's products have failed them in the past, and they've never been happier since making the switch to our NC Reckless LED line. Less hassle, their now more confident in the end products they sell, and their customers are excited about the Bright finished product that displays their identity / branding at night. For more Product info on our Reckless LED line: http://www.thesignsyndicate.com/forums/index.php?/forums/topic/7353-bright-long-lasting-channel-letters-and-what-it-takes/ For all Sales & Inquiry you can contact us at (858) 880-1400, or by email orders@thesignsyndicate.com
  2. Check this out. This is for a national chain "Stanton Optical" who's saving money on buying their channel letters directly from CHINA, then having local sign shops install them. I don't think need to say much. Upon a closer look, yes the paint job is from a paint can....who's quality is so good even Earl Sheib is jelly!! Oh and let's not leave out the VERY high quality constant voltage (Blue View) LEDs fastened by caulking In case you were going to ask YES........they are UL Listed Thanks sooooo much to our Sign Trade Magazines who's articles pound the bastardization of our industry and turn our trade into a commodity where "anyone can do it" environment everything is now a mail order. Wonder if these came with a 5 year warranty
  3. "NOT MADE IN CHINA!!" I would like to share a document with you I was recently given, somethings are debatable in some issues but a good chunk should be payed attention too. The LED DelusionV2.pdf Sometimes I get people asking me why I say "NOT made in CHINA!!!" on a lot of our advertising when it comes to products we distribute on the Sign Syndicate like our infamous NC LED's. The answer has always been simple. China manipulates their currency which provides a disadvantage when it comes to trade, it's unfair, unequal trade. American companies who have gone to Chinese plants for production for decades...think "Engineered In America, Made In China" philosophy has always resulted in playing musical chairs because unless you have an engineer, someone you can trust to watch these plants and observe or conduct your own quality control on a daily basis, more often than not things get changed up to cut costs. More often than not, that enforcer for quality control most likely will only show up quarterly or yearly. Standards Socialism versus Capitalism, who do you think has a higher incentive to do better? Human rights, there is no such thing when it comes to China and how can there be under a dictatorship. Chinese government/industrial hackers of our computer systems It's clear until we greatly deregulate our own country so we can bring back jobs and production in our very own country, until that happens which will be hopefully soon we should be careful about who we buy from when we can as much as possible. When it comes to our own electric sign industry, things maybe cheaper to buy Chinese BUT the quality is almost never there unless you have VERY tight quality control and when it comes to LED's from our own tests we have been running since 2008, we haven't seen it. As that saying goes, "buy the best, and only cry once"
