    Yellow page ads are a giant waste of money. We dropped ours years ago and have not missed it.

    Once when called to look a a channel letter set that was not working I had a good one. When I raised up to the sign I could see that the raceway cover was bent up on one end, and when I took it off there was a cooked crispy crow with one foot on the secondary of the neon transformer. I had to take side cuts to cut his foot off the tranny.

    I can't imagine trying to install a boom and all that goes with it at my shop. I would have way more in it than just buying a ready to go truck.

    The altec TA series will reach straight out to the side. you don't have to jerk around getting in the right position like a damn knuckle boom.

    I was dealing with them but bought elsewhere. The gal seemed very nice and easy to work with. They are just a jockey though.
