  5. AxiomLED Introduces 347 Volt Input HP120-A24 Power Supply AxiomLED announced the upcoming release of a line of power supplies for the Canadian market. Input 300-440 Volts AC, 47-63Hz or 400-620Volt DC input. The initial 120 Watt version will have an output of 24 Volts DC to be used with AxiomLED new ultra high brightness LED systems for signage, lighting, warehouse lighting, and parking lot lights. 347 Volts AC is a common industrial voltage in the Canadian market. "We continue to make sure we are listening to customer problems and try to develop solutions that make their life easier," stated Chris Peng, Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of AxiomLED. "Our line of 90-277VAC power supplies are used all over the world and have proven to be the most reliable and lowest cost. We are now going to develop lines of power supplies that address other issues like Canadian industrial voltage ranges." The HP120-A24 has a power factor of 0.90 minimum at 50-100% load, with input current of 0.5 Amps maximum at 313 Volts AC input and 0.3 Amps at 418 Volts AC input at 100 Watt load condition. AxiomLED also announced that it will be introducing a 12 Volt DC output range as well for use with its popular AXLE5-SW65 LED module line. The HP120 Series power supplies will be available for sampling by summer 2011. Product Information: http://www.axiomled.com/AxiomLED/Power_Supplies.html "We solved some very interesting application problems in New Zealand with the introduction of our line of 5 Foot LED tubes that require no rewiring, no electrician, and reduce power by 50%," commented Manuel Lynch, CEO and Co-Founder of AxiomLED. "We continue to push the power density, highest efficiency, and lowest cost solution model." AxiomLED also sees the use of its HP120 series in hydro-electric generation plant lighting for high input DC voltage applications. The companies upcoming high bay LED lighting systems replace fluorescent lighting and operate directly off high voltage DC sources up to 620 Volts DC. 6. Wonder how many more people will be pursued. If they cannot stop the elusive and slippery Chinese companies - go after the people selling the products. http://www.nichia.co.jp/en/about_nichia/2011/2011_042501.html
  7. You wont be able to talk about work in the normal way after our party... the best memories in life - with family, friends, etc are the ones that are just different than the normal. Saturday - hahaha - our next meetings after Friday are on Sunday!!!
  8. Skip, We should connect and find some Chinese drink to dream up and to toast Mike Armenta in China. I agree - it is exhausting meeting/networking. Last week I travelled with another Las Vegas company to another country and we had about 5-6 meetings per day for a week - kicks your ass. Talking sometimes is more tiring than running or swimming! Manuel
  9. Gray is flying across the big pond to meet you all - he is coming to the AxiomLED Party!
  10. and yes, for those that have asked, Anita in our Las Vegas customer service team will be at the party...
  11. AxiomLED wanted to give people a heads up on what we will be introducing at the ISA Show in Las Vegas. White LED Modules for Signs - Redefining "VALUE" And we are about to do what we do best again....increase the brightness and reduce the cost. AxiomLED will be introducing two (2) new product lines in partnership with Nichia of Japan that are brighter than before and lower cost, some below $3.00 a foot. So while most people are looking at cheap "value" products that do not last very long we will be introducing a new product that is over 50,000 hour lifetime before 20% reduction and has all the patent protections of the Nichia brand. Fluorescent Tubes Move Over AxiomLED has had tremendous success outside North America with its line of AT12M and AT15M LED tubes that run directly off existing fluorescent ballasts in 230 VAC countries. Now AxiomLED is introducing a new LED tube in partnership with another USA company that will be available nationwide. The new tube will be 10% higher output than a T8 tube, use Nichia white LEDs, and be 50% lower power than fluorescent....and cost 50% less than any competing product. See the product in action in New Zealand http://www.kiwiled.com/KiwiLED/T8_LED_Tube.html Metal Halide - We Are Tired of the Heat! AxiomLED will be introducing an LED retrofit system for ANY existing Metal Halide 250 Watt and 400 Watt fixture. No need to re-wire, no need to replace the fixture, our system simply drops in and replaces the existing bulb and runs off the existing Metal Halide inductor. 60-70% less power for the same amount of light.... and all for under $200! Come Join the Party - You Have Never Seen Products Introduced Like This!!! So if you have not signed up for our crazy ISA Party where you may see some of these products in very "unusual" positions.... Sign up to be considered for the event that will launch all sorts of conversations - http://axiomled.com/AxiomLED/ISA_Party_Registration.html
  12. Here is more info on the AxiomLED party - it will start following the Sign Syndicate Meet and Greet at Dicks Last Resort. We have to admit that we have 3X more people sign up this year than in the past - I guess we know how to have fun. This years party is going to require us to split up the group into 3 categories - and while I can say their was a method to our madness in arranging the groups - it is simply just random. You will be receiving an email notice on Saturday April 23rd for what group you are in and where you "Join the Party". There are going to be 3 meetings points for the party - the first will be at 730pm at Dicks Last Resort at Excalibur Hotel - this is where the Sign Syndicate Party will be ending. The next meeting point for group 2 will be at 9pm - location to be announced. The 3rd group meeting point will be at 10:30pm - location to be announced. All I can say is - "The party is taking place at multiple high end places in Las Vegas"...and yes, the treat is on us and that means the drinks and the fun. And yes, our entertainment will be "exotically and educationally entertaining" - 3E Program. We are looking forward to seeing you all again and we are interested in introducing a bunch of you to new companies from around the world - Peru, Czechoslovakia, New Zealand, ...Tennessee... haha. If you have any questions, please call me on my mobile at 702-539-4484 or at my office at 702-425-4381 Manuel LynchCEOAxiomLED
  13. We will be announcing the specifics of our party soon...we have over 120 people signed up.... coming from all over - Peru, Canada, UK, New Zealand, Australia, Indiana... very international crew this time. The Dollar is weak after all. Weather turned very cold today in Las Vegas.
  14. numbers are up due to room rate reductions - I live in Las Vegas and can tell you - casinos seem busy but the reason revenues are down is that people are coming to town on cheap airfares ($12 on Allegiant from Orange County), staying on cheap room rates, table minimums are lowered, and the high end restaurants are now reducing prices by 50-70%. So I am not sure it is all people going to ISA - it is Spring and the pool parties are starting.... you will see a lot of bikinis at the hotels but not many going to the show. Spring break.
  15. The AxiomLED party will begin and pick up when the Sign Syndicate party ends at Dicks... We have over 100 people signed up to come so we are dividing the group up into 4 groups. Group 2 will be meeting us at Dicks.... And yes Erik, if your wife can party this time, you may never even know where you went or where you will wind up!!!! I have two competitors joining our party + Sean and EGL - so I think this will show clearly that this is just a community party about having fun!!! and maybe learning something new....in a very odd environment!!!
  16. http://www.diverseid.com/signage/illuminated.html Heard this is a small minority owned company that is winning some business - anyone ever heard of them?
  17. http://www.businessinsider.com/news-flash-prices-rose-last-month-2011-3
  18. I dont think it matters who is in charge right now - it is happening all over the world. Reality is setting in.
  19. report I read said that food prices should go up 3-4% in the USA - said that this will really hurt some people and some industries. I have heard that 7 Eleven changeovers are slowing down due to inflation issues. We saw prices on some items go up about 30% over the past year in New Zealand.
  20. So I guess inflation is really coming to the USA as well... we saw it in New Zealand and Australia in a pretty strong way...China has been dealing with it as well. So how are you seeing price increasing at work and home? Besides gas and food - what else are you seeing continuing to rise? We have seen rubbing alcohol prices increase for example in the last year. I expect we will see large increases in acrylic prices.
  21. I think it is Larry Markert at N Glantz who handles most of the press or exposure to their LED offering and opinions about what Sign Syndicate says. I know he watches everything here but he never posts. Larry use to work for a very respected group - Yorston and Associates - the owner of the company is a very stand up guy. What really sucks for most of us is that the leading distributor in the USA is really ruining the market for LED systems - if you build/partner/or sell really cheap crap it will just ultimately put some pretty ugly marks on the technology as a whole.
  22. I even have some people from New Zealand sign companies flying in for ISA that may be coming to the party.
  23. and yes... we are adding sales people in different areas around the country. So if you know anyone that is interested please let us know.
