  1. I was gonna say the whole infringe thing too but I thought I'd be nice :D
  2. Call it a Flaming Moe, I think it would basically have to be configured as a chimeny with brick for the interior, I know natural gas doesn't burn as hot. Sounds like a very expensive job to me with lot's of liability involved. Make sure you charge a bazillion dollars. I wonder what the gas bill would be every month to run that. Another option would be to use that seran wrap stuff they use at theme parks to simulate fire, looks like fire to me without the liability, it's just uplighted with yellow and red.
  3. Well it's going to take reading and research Jet & if your not to framiliar with english. Aren't there sites you can check out in Chinese?
  4. The open flame sign, will it be a wall sign? Pillar of light, would you be talking about candle power as strong as the "Luxor" hotel? I need some more info to get a feel of it
  5. It reminds me of that same kinda plastic they use to make those kitchen cutting boards out of. My Rep is Kay over there at RP. Thx for the invite on the tix :D , I'd love to check it out one of these weekends I really appreciate it. Are you doing a lot of the ADA stuff at the park too? That's something I'm thinking of moving more into.
  6. Most likely Friday or Sat, or maybe one day during the week for a seminar and return for the weekend. That way we can go out to a club or something in Hollywood Perhaps :D
  7. I know the playground stuff your talking about, I just ran into the stuff the other day at Regal PLastics. I noticed it's the same stuff my kids play on at the park. I've seen samples of it and I didn't put 2 and 2 together till just yesterday. I was thinking of using that stuff for the kids at our house, build them some structures. Especially since my wife will be opening up a daycare soon. Souds like you build some pretty fun stuff, I have yet to go to that park. Maybe soon.
  8. What kinda stuff have you been doing with your Dimension?
  9. If you plan on going on your own someday the education part might be a big plus

  11. It must be a Gerber thing CAn you still only use Gerber software with Gerber equipment, or can you switch around?
  12. If I could have done it all over again I would have liked to have been a working at Victoria Secrets or Freddrick's of Hollywood
  13. From the album: Portfolio Stuff

    28"x30" Dimensional Resident Sign.
  14. Your more than welcome here Super Stitches, great intro! :D
  15. Anybody else have or using these? I think their awsome, represents a lot of the old classic sign styles along with modern times. Absolutely love them, using one today for a channel letter design. I'll try to remember to post a pic of the sign when i'm done. It's a nice oval logo box, aluminum face with routed letters and characters using 3/4" puch thru acrylic. The fonts are awsome I just wish each font had some more options like bold, extrabold. But I know you can do all that yourself. I highly recommend if you don not already have these. :D
  16. Well I guess it's the attitude at the water cooler where I think it does seem to be an old lady mentality, and that's just my opinion. I know if I were to voice it there, it would be quickly deleted. Some links and prints brought me to Signguy007 & Tamiath's posts in your private forum. Who I PM'd regarding my sites and legitimacy. I asked them both if they had any questions for me. No response back, do I need to state what that tells me & how that reflects Signforums.com & who they give permissions to? Am I saying they have had anything to do with this? No. Well again, the album was there a week ago because I saw a random image on the bottom of the forum. If you had a database problem a lot more would be missing that just my album, you would most likely have to use your backup or start new. Oh and the reason why you don't see admin actions in the ACP is because album edits won't show up there. I even tried to build one so you can delete it to check your ACP to see that it does not show up there. But someone denied me permissions to form one. Hmmmm, could this be the same person? Fewer people with power, fewer problems. I just take the the whole as a reflection. I can't hold it against everyone there. The problem ones in your forums are few I know that, but I'm just simply voicing it . Now this brings us back to the water cooler. If we were to have a conversation at the water cooler within a large company with the many, and some were telling jokes & I told mine and was singled out by a manager to being inappropriate because his wife didn't like the joke. I might frown on that action, especially if he's the only one. Then to find a secret memo written about me with some false statements being passed from MGMT to MGMT. Then to questions those in the staff and offer to explain any mix up with an explanation and get no response. Come back to my office and the pictures on the wall in my office and personal belongings in my desk drawers were gone. I would go straight down to management and raise a stink, but they just shrugged their shoulders and said they don't know anything about it. Even though their the only ones with extra keys to my office beside me. Do you keep working there? No. I would go somewhere else to work, somewhere where they don't allow that to happen. It only takes one or two managers to reflect a company of thousands I'm done with this thread. It's not to reflect the signforums.com as a bad place to be, it's just to point out some problems with it and how it gets handled and how it affected me. Maybe they can take it as constructive critisism. If these were memebers I had problems with I could care less and this would not have been a topic over here. Kimon I think your a great guy with a great attitude. I just don't think the left hand knows what the right is doing....sometimes. Unfortunatly it just hit this person to many times, & I'm just posting an opinion with some facts to it.
  17. Man.....I haven't done repair in a longtime. I thought it was going to be a simple transformer change, ended up having to replace all the GTO secondary runs. To top it off the crawl space was like 3'x 3' and hot as hell. Shower felt good Well I'm not suprised at all, maybe they didn't like what they found out.
  18. Sorry Webbum, your topic got hijacked to another discussion
  19. I don't do many banners I usually give them away free when I sell an electric wall sign. But I just realized I buy a 10oz hemmed and grommeted for around $20-25, and for 3 more colors. Wow!!! no kidding. I think I'm willing to drop 50 bones to that guy just to see they look like. Truely the "guest" just may have found the new sign bitch to drop orders on. This may work out better in more ways then one. But I think i'd rather pay COD, cuzz I know if this guy will fold soon. Well the other danger to this is do we know if this banner ho is really in the US. What if it truely is a "sweat shop" somewhere in Mexico or China? Where peeps are getting paid $1 a week.
  20. This is true and unfortunate. But I've seen this happen time and time again. They don't last for to long before they find themselves in a bind. This is a very common trend that comes and goes like the wind. Wish I had a dollar for everytime I see these dummies go out of business. They don't understand that the sign industry is a "specialty" first.
  21. I would think that when you get to that point of being that busy you have to be making enough money to get a shop. Having a problem of being to busy is a good problem to have :D Nothing like having a shop with your name on it
