  1. Have 3 of them now and 1 on order. Not 1 single problem. Trucks are worked every day! Still the best deal for the money.
  2. We used CAO leds in our letters for years and never had to service or replace any of the leds. You should probably have your facts straight before you go bashing another company.
  3. Here you go!!! As requested. You act like I am trying to hide something! Notice the picture using both trucks? That is called doing work! I-Cranes by the way. Does anyone have a legitimate complaint about the new cranes or are all of you upset because you got screwed by Sam? Well so did I and i still stand behind I-Crane and my 2 new trucks because they are not the same crane! You can check out the new I-Crane at the show and compare it to the pieces of junk you bought from Sam!
  4. I would be happy to show you that section. Sorry, I've been a little busy running a company. My booms look identical Stefanik's. So what's the point? It's a pivot point with grease fittings? What the hell would you be looking for anyway? So it's not that I won't do it, it's that it is a waste of my time to show you a pivot point! It looks like everyone else's. Yes, both of them have bushings. I will post a picture if it's going to make you happy!

  6. Nine pages worth! That's what! Maybe we should start a new ICRANE post and talk about the crane that is being built now and not Sam's cranes or the crane you bought in the transition before there was time to make the necessary changes! Or the new crane you had put on a used truck because you didn't want to spend the money on a new one and it had some mechanical problems! Maybe??
  7. Very Nice!! How can anyone question the quality of that crane? Since they own a steel company as well I think they know a thing or two about what works and what doesn't work. Certified welders fabricate those sections and it shows! What a nice versatile crane! I would love to add an auger to at least one of mine.I would put a larger winch on it but other than that it is perfect!
  8. The signweb articles are from 6 months ago so I am not sure what you are looking at. Nobody is nailing me because they don't have any valid points. If i can find something to lift for you to prove a point, I will. Just because it will doesn't mean you should. Signs don't weigh 5,000 pounds period! There is no reason you should be lifting more than a couple thousand pounds unless you hire some dumb ass inexperienced installer that tries to lift a pallet of sackrete off a trailer! Yes, I've heard the manitex will do that and it had issues lifting it but did it! Call a concrete truck! These cranes weren't designed for that. Not only do I put my employees in that, I go up in them as well and don't even think twice about it. I have been around sign cranes my whole life and you should see some of the trucks I've worked out of! Then you would understand why I can actually say that they are over built! Unless they are not used like they are supposed to be! You don't think they have done any kind of testing or calculations to figure out what can and cannot be done? They aren't just bolting cranes on trucks! Remember, Sam doesn't own the company anymore! Chassis must have double frame etc. I think they know more at this point than anyone posting here! I have talked to Shannon and Ernest numerous times and they know exactly what they are doing and it shows in the new crane!
  9. So let me get this straight! That truck cost about the same as what I bought 125 - 130 ish, doesn't lift hardly anything and has a super tiny man basket. whats the point unless all you do is service and small installs? I have still had no issues with either truck. It looks like you bought that one while Sam still owned the company or before the new owners had a chance to fix the issues. I don't have these problems on the smaller F550's. You are comparing a bucket truck to a crane! Look at the size of the tubes? I could put that crane in a pick up truck! lol! And we are still talking about an engineer stamp? Anyone can stamp a drawing, just ask my local competitor who's friend is an engineer. The cranes are clearly overbuilt and have been the best purchases i have made here! I'm sorry you got a crappy crane but you guy's keep bringing up old shit from Sam! Why are my cranes perfect? Is that just a fluke?
  10. I would be happy to bring over a truck to the show. They do work every day but if it falls on a Saturday then no problem. It is only 45 minutes away. Let me know if there is anyone actually interested in looking.
  11. I think they are already there! We work both trucks every day all day and have had ZERO problems! The crane they are building is apparently way better than the cranes you guys received from Sam before they were redesigned. I would buy more of these cranes if I could afford to.
  12. Well said! It is saying something that they have been working with people on the old cranes from the old company and eating costs not associated with them. I can't even imagine how much money they have out of pocket trying to fix Sam's old cranes even though the company changed hands and changed the name to get away from the bad reputation and legalities associated with the old company. You cannot make money fixing other people's crap!! We are all in business to make money not give it away!
  13. The trucks have not been to ICRANE since i purchased them.We have had them about 5-6 months and both trucks are used every day. There are no service records on the crane because the only thing we have done is wash them. We did however blow up the motor in the F550 as a bearing let go at 5,000 miles and because they were purchased through ford they rented me a manitex crane while the motor was being put in. All paid for by Ford under warranty. As soon as the trucks get back in here I will take you some photos. The cranes they are building are not what they were building. They actually have put an extreme amount of hours in redesigning the crane and leveling system etc. It is completely different. I'll post the pictures later.
  14. Their website is www.icranellc.com. There is nothing "Fishy" going on! The web page layout is the same because Sam made the old website when he was there. Again, wouldn't it be fair to let "ICRANE" run their business without you bringing up Sam who is no longer associated with ICRANE~!!!!! Put some time and effort into looking over the quality of what they are doing before you bad mouth a good company! For God's sake man! Get over it! SAM IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH ICRANE!!! Did you catch that?
  15. Just confirmed it! Not the same company. That is Sam's new company! It is however the same web page layout
  16. That is not the same company if that is what you are implying. Also, to answer your question on how the new cranes are, I have had no issues whatsoever. The trucks are worked every day and they are extremely efficient and easy to work out of. Jobs get done faster, 4 man basket can't be beat, jib winch, etc. The new cranes are extremely solid and over built. Instead of bad mouthing and having a bad attitude towards ICRANE why don't you actually look at the new crane? Have you done that? I would assume no! I know some of you got screwed by the old company (skylift) but I'm quite sure you weren't screwed as bad as I was. I got the first Skylift ever made if that tells you anything. And by the way, the answer is "yes" amazingly it still works, although it is a huge piece of SH--! Would it not be fair to the new owners to actually look the crane over before you throw them under the bus? Certified welders, automotive painters, etc. The quality is every bit as good as Manitex and Elliott. I've used both of them! Why pay all the extra money when you get a great crane for the $?
  17. Nothing is in it for me. I am just posting the pictures and letting people know that this is not the same company that started skylift. I am sure there are sign companies out there that don't want to spend $175,000 but want a good crane. I just want people to see the Icrane before they go buy a used wore out crane for 100k or a new overpriced crane.
  18. The reach is 62'-65' working height but straight up we were able to reach a 7 story sign on a wall. It has 2 winches. The jib winch has a 500 pound capacity plus a man in the basket and a winch mounted near the base under the crane that lifts 2,000 pounds. I can get you the exact capacity shortly. Those trucks run about $120 - $130k depending on what you want on it. Extremely stable all the way out.
  19. Randy, We have a neon guy in house and are we are the only shop left here in Brevard. That's good to know though if we get swamped or need a repair over there. Email me your info and I'll keep it handy. kendal@kendalsigns.com
  20. Just wanted to post a few pictures of the new truck. This is the nicest crane I have been in. Smooth operation, completely new leveling system that keeps you perfectly level at all times. (Designed for the Icrane). Springs on the extend/retract cable so there is never slack in the line, rhino lined bed, steps on the rear bumper, bin large enough for torch tanks, extended jib winch contained on the basket etc. In my opinion this truck has everything you would need to install/service a sign. This is by far the best thing going for an F550 class of trucks as far as reach and capacity. Let me know if you have any questions or suggestions as to what you would change.
  21. These are not the first one's off the line. They are however the first ones made the way I asked them to. They are $115k each. There is no nickel and diming over the different options. They have gone out of their way to make it how I asked. They have also installed a custom hydraulic tank to go behind the bins instead of losing the bin space. They also are taking 3 of my current trucks in trade. Can't get that done anywhere else.
