  1. Honestly, I probably would not use it. I spend too much time here as it is...
  2. Follow the money. I don't remember all the details when it was being pushed through, but I do remember there was a loud outcry from people who didn't want it to happen. But as usual, their concerns were ignored by the "powers-that-be". But don't put all the blame on the telemarketers. Does your cell phone company offer you a private number option?
  3. I received this email today as a reminder. This is for real. I just did it and it takes less than 1 minute. Call the number shown in the message below or go to the website listed to block your cell phone number from telemarketers. Mark -----Original Message----- Subject: CALL BLOCKING JUST A REMINDER....18 days from today, all cell phone numbers are being released to telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sale calls. ..YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR THESE CALLS.... To prevent this call the following number from your cell phone: 888-382-1222 It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only take a minute of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years. HELP OTHERS BY PASSING THIS ON TO ALL YOUR FRIENDS. OR GO TO: www.donotcall.gov/
  4. From an appearance standpoint it just looks like another message forum - only without the fun like we enjoy here (you know they won't allow that!) I have not tried to register yet - will do that tomorrow from the office - but see that Joe got it done. I suspect the traffic will slow down considerably because of having to register. It happens to most sites. In fact, it kills some of them. Look at signindustry... not to mention Mr. Scott must have picked the worst (cheapest?) format he could find
  5. I second that motion... a day late
  6. What was the brand Prez. Clinton used? :Bj:

  9. LMAO!!! The best part is I didn't even have to ask. It was just there one day :D
  10. Ahh, your question to me several months after the fact now makes a little more sense. If need be I can still dig out all the documentation regarding my situation
  11. I was going to edit it as spam but wasn't sure what it was, so I left it alone

  17. They must be having a whole lot of problems. I don't like the new format. And that's all I have to say about that :D
  18. Not at all, knock yourself out! I have a lot of "converts" at this point - people who used to get sucked in to the standard questions and responses. Now they are thinking for themselves more and telling it like it is  With any kind of luck maybe it will start a movement and we'll eventually get rid of all this politically correct crap!
  19. Political surveys are my favorite. When they get to the part about "Are you Caucasian, African-American, Native American, Hispanic or Asian-American?" I say, "None of the above." When they say "What do you mean 'None of the above?'" I tell them I am "Euro-American". When they act dumbfounded I explain it to them: My ancestors came to this country from Europe many centuries ago, just as countless others did. Based on the current politically correct terminology that makes me Euro-American! They usually hang up on me. The ones who don't tell me that they don't have a choice on the survey for that. Then I tell them their survey is racist, politically incorrect and biased against those who are Euro-American. That usually gets them to hang up on me if they haven't already :D
  20. Dang, you mean you can still count that far back???
  21. Ahh... to be 27 again... Have one for me
