It ain't too late Gary. Didn't you know? You don't have to do much actual work to be an "arteest". And the work you do doesn't necessarily have to be good! You have to sound important and pretend you know what you're doing.
  4. It actually let me come directly to the forums with only ONE login attempt
  5. That's what I discovered. The one in the upper right corner doesn't seem to work. If you scroll down to the one on the left it seems to work first try.
  6. Took 5 tries to login just now. I didn't clear my cache first, because I didn't know you changed anything. But it still should have accepted a manual key entry.
  7. Okay, what the hell did you do to the board??? Now it won't remember me... :bitchin:
  8. Well, I had to type in my password for the first time since the change
  9. No problems here on the East coast either. Did you switch brands of beer lately Joe?
  10. Oh, I get it... so you were intentionally messing with me, huh?
  11. Cannot access the arcade. Various errors pop up. Could access it yesterday. Edit: Well it works now.
  12. You're almost there... Just 2 more years 'till the big 50! Have a good one
  13. It never ceases to amaze me... Well, never mind. I promised Erik I wouldn't go there where you are concerned - as easy as it may be. Btw, I got the responses I was expecting. Actually, more than I was expecting. But considering you apparently have the ability to read my mind I guess you already knew that... Your additional "dictionary" definitions are merely redundancies and/or synonyms of the primary ones, which is why I didn't bother including them.
  14. Vacation: n. 1. A period of time devoted to pleasure, rest, or relaxation. 2. a. A holiday. b. A fixed period of holidays, esp. one during which a school, court, or business suspends activities; recess. By definition, I believe staying at home relaxing constitutes a "vacation" much more so than traveling for 22 hours with your mother in the back seat of the car, unless of course you consider that as a "pleasure" or "rest" or "relaxing"
  15. No doubt with a fishin' pole hangin' over the side What does being married have to do with taking your favorite vacation? Oh, wait a minute... that's why I can't take mine! Never mind...
  16. I guess I'm the dud in the bunch. To start with, I hate to travel for various reasons (mostly medical). I do it when I have to. Consequently, when my wife and I go on "vacation" I am usually stressed the whole time and am more tired when I get back than before I left. So a good vacation for me is to kick back at home. Sleep until I feel like getting up, don't answer the phone, don't look at emails, don't play fireman for customers... yada, yada, yada. Basically just be a lazy ass without a care in the world for a few days. But I never seem to get my idea of a "vacation" Oh yeah, and I'm still waiting for that Wartman character to roll through here. I would leave the house and go to the local watering hole for that!
  17. I was just wondering what everyone's idea is of a good vacation. I never seem to get the one I want because of "spouse influence". I have my own ideas on the topic, but I'll let someone else go first
  18. Congrats are certainly in order It is no small task to do what you have accomplished!
  19. Congrats Travis! Looks like at least one person had a good time with the cake!
  20. Hope y'all had a great one. I know we did! And I can't think of anything to add to the great things mentioned about our admin and this site other than to say I agree 100%
  21. For the kind of money that the PS3's are *supposedly* selling for on ebay I could have Pac-Man re-invented and a bunch of new machines made. Or for that matter, find a restored original arcade model for a fraction of the price!
  22. Personally I think the ebay thing is BS. The winning bidder has -0- feedback. I was also made aware of another supposed ebay auction where a PS3 went for... are you ready for this?... $87,000,000. Eighty-Seven MILLION! All I can say is, WHAT A CROCK! No way. I don't care how much money someone has, no one is going to spend that much on a game player - and it can't even play all the old games! I think it's a Micro$oft conspiracy
