FULL-TIME SIGN ESTIMATOR LOCATION: Hudson, N.H. Please do not reply to this ad on this forum. Use one of the contacts listed at bottom. We are an established reputable full-service sign company based in New England and have been in business for 43 years. We are currently expanding our operations and are looking for the right person to grow with us. This is a full time office position, Monday to Friday, to start immediately. The position has the following requirements: - MINIMUM of FIVE YEARS sign estimating experience required. - MINIMUM of FIVE YEARS experience in estimating materials, labor, and overall costs associated with sign manufacturing and installation. - Experience in estimation of raw materials, pre-fab materials, outsourced materials, labor, equipment, tools, crating, and transportation of custom, national, and wholesale signage. - Ability to assist in compiling cost data for job cost system and establishing and revising production standards. - Experience in the fundamentals of sign construction, including sheet metal, wiring, and installation, and the ability to visualize the inner workings of the signs to be manufactured. - Basic knowledge of lateral force calculations and wind-loading, as well as support and foundation design. - Strong understanding of engineering and architectural drawings and principles. - Ability to read blue prints, message schedules, and bid documents. - Computer skills and general experience in computer-aided design. - Strong analytical and mathematical skills. - Good communication skills, working with our sales force, project managers, owners, designers, and management team. - Detail oriented, self-motivated, strong work ethic, positive, team player, with a proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
