Shiner Signs, Inc. Est. 1904, is a full service design and custom sign fabrication company located in Meriden, CT. We are looking for an experienced electric sign fabricator. A person who is motivated, a self starter and the ability to work with little direction. Some signage industry experience is required. The individual should be a team player, an imaginative problem-solver with a mechanical aptitude who is looking for a job with variety and creativity. Opportunity is for long-term employment.
Must be able to read and interpret sign shop drawings. Set up and operate fabrication equipment and hand tools. Build channel letters, and custom fabricated electric signs from start to finish.
Understand and have basic welding skills for fabrication of aluminum.
Three years related experience required. Sign fabrication experience preferred but mechanical skills and experience in carpentry, fine custom cabinetry, or other highly skilled trades.
