THE SIGN INDUSTRY NEEDS YOU!

List National Sign & Lighting Maintenance Companies, Sign Associations.

If you see a company already named please try and skip it. Don't comment on if their a good or bad company to deal with based on experience or payment schedule, that's not important at this point we'll get to that later. Let's just compile a list first and start a separate thread for ratings of National Sign & Lighting Companies who subcontract out for installs

Our current list so far

How are we supposed to know who is good and/or bad? Are we going to break everyones results down? I don't want people to get confused if they are all up here int he same list, b/c some of them are not bad.

We're just building a list first of all Primary National Sign Contractors. Then I'm going to build a system where we can then have a rating and comment section.

[Great Idea! Long overdue, we need some protection here in light of the current market.

the biggest problem here is the fact that there are so many installers who will take the work knowing it is going to be 90 days to get paid or longer!

Sign Installers should hold Primary GC to the terms on the PO, which should be no more than 60 at best. And yes, they should pay us, and secure their own line of credit to fund, however, probably not realistic, much like a General Contractor - Sub contractor relationship where no one gets paid until the owner pays....

Has anybody had any success with the attorney pursuing collections from Image Point installers?

If you have done work for them for Brigestone, you can get paid from Bridgestone direct. It was part of their agreement with Image Point.

I don't think any installers will see money from them.

I'm compiling slowly but surely the list of National Sign Companies, Electrical Lighting Services & Sign Associations. Each entity or business will have two poll questions (Except Associations) based on Work Relationship & Payment Schedules. Also you can reply to each company with a comment on what your experience is and has been.

This is time consuming and I may release soon with what I have and just slowly add I do each company, or wait for a complete list.

Is someone planning to assemble this in to one consumate listing? Also - who determines good/bad? Are you going to use a star system to denote between the different opinions on each company?

Well - I guess you just answered my questions - good mind reading!

It's up, please read the forum rules so I don't have to do a bunch of edits

http://www.thesignsyndicate.com/forums/ind...?showtopic=2995

As you can see I have a lot of more companies ahead of me, every name will be in alphabetical order.

Maybe down the road we can transfer and do something different, but for now this should be a good start
