  1. Obviously by stringing out the installers past 180 days and not paying them...
  2. poaching comes to mind...He's also saying your that good. finally all advertising is good advertising.
  3. over here you dont need to pay taxes either if you are new lol
  4. looked like it was fun...how was the tailgate POT? Lol...
  5. I like this note on thier site... LEGAL NOTICE; "Manchel Wholesale Sign Builder" and all associated companies and vendors reserve(s) the right to decline to perform ANY work beyond money paid on contract with "Manchel Wholesale Sign Builder" or said farm out company,or vendor for ANY reason
  6. Have you tried Midwest sign and screen? I think they cover your area...
  7. Try this guy, not sure exactly what he has other than he told me they have a full line. Bret Brown ALEDA bretbrown@aleda-esco.com www.aleda-esco.com 847 264 1015 As always this is new ssl stuff so as said before, do your homework!
  8. As an association supporter I just found this a dated piece of information...If people don't think shops have been using their scraps for the last 50 years or so they are nuts...Most shops are lean by nature as most are so small lean practices are automatic. On large production floors this can make huge differences though and again, most are already on the wagon from many years back. I saw a lot of things that most shops have been doing for years. This should have been run about five years ago if not ten. Acorn just cleaned up the shop and put a new face on it from what I can see. It was a good piece if you don't know the industry that well, seemed fluffy to me...I will finally say good for Acorn that this is working for them and I hope they continue to support the ISA.
  9. Done...love those twins, got me a pair too! P.S. May she win and they play and beat the cubs!
  10. And prices are going to keep going up, sooner is better on this one than later...
  11. Crazy stuff in the scope for sure, they'll be talking to us very soon...
  12. Floresco out West, Kieffer Midwest...I think Gordon to the south and a whole bunch out east... Tight specs...
  13. It's too bad you feel this way. I have been in and out of multiple sign associations, without holding any board positions, for many years and you are exactly the type of person that needs to be involved. I get more out of the UL and similar type discussion sessions, than caring about where the next golf outing is going to be for sure. With that in mind I agree with previous posts about getting out of it what you put in...bag em all if you want but it's hard to change the system from outside while tossing rocks at a lot of people who have also dedicated their lives to this industry. You’re a strong and intelligent voice and the industry needs you even if you do decide to do it from the sidelines or this site. BTW this is your own little sign association anyway, don't you think? I'm terrible at golf probably, I've never played or even stepped on a golf course You're the perfect Association golfer then!!! Keep stiring the drink...
