Paul Signs Inc. removal of the iconic Wonder Wheel sign in Coney Island in May of 2014. The sign needed some repairs after superstorm hurricane Sandy damaged most of New York and it's beach communities. There was salt water damage and wear and tear of time showing on the famous sign. It has been 14 years since we last refurbished the sign.

  18. Hi Folks, Just an update. The Directory has been up before but it sort of died due to my actions of not keeping it up. However the software for it has been improved and a lot more user friendly so I'll be toying with it over the next few weeks to month. The directory is located in the above horizontal menu right next to the "Sign Installer & Service Map". Soon the Directory will be replacing that, and most likely the current "Company Review Lists" because the new directory you will be able to view all categories or filter such categories as "Sign & Service Companies", National Sign & Service Companies, and Sign Supply/ Distributors. The Directory is complete with maps and company comments & opinions Going forward this will be our new review system of companies that you have done business with, and or are curious about what others experiences were when they did do business with them. Anyway, as we go forward Upgraded Paid membership National Sign Companies or "National Patron's" will be able to add subcontractors and review them, and view their own profile. Upgraded Paid Membership Sign Companies or Subs will be able to list themselves where others can view them, rate them, and be made visible on the Installer & Service Map. Nothing has really changed when it comes to the current accessibility or group permissions. Subs, paid memberships or not, will still be able to rate National Sign & Service providers. it still might be acting quarky, but if you have issues accessing it let me know, and if you have any suggestions let me know. Suggestions on fields that should be added etc. Oh, and the name will change over to just "Company Directory" because their will be a couple of different categories http://www.thesignsyndicate.com/forums/index.php?/firmy/

  22. Hello to all in the Syndicate, I wanted to let you know that YESCO Franchising is holding a "Discovery Day" on March 21st, 2014 in Salt Lake City. Unfortunately we do not offer franchise opportunities inside 11 Western States (WA, OR, CA, ID, NV, AZ, MT, UT, WY, CO, NM). Our discovery day will show you as sign folks how YESCO operates it's service offices and how they grow. This will be a training for you to better understand how our model could impact your business and help you build your service operation. Please let me know if you are interested in attending so I can give you the rest of the information. Call me or email me. We hope to have a lot of people attend to see what YESCO's service business is all about. Jack S. Larsen Business Development Director/YESCO Franchise 2401 Foothill Drive Salt Lake City, Utah 84109 801-493-7311 main jlarsen@yesco.com www.Yesco.com
  23. Hello to all! As a member of the YESCO Franchising department, I wanted to get a feel for what people think of what we are doing. We have been growing this for two years now, and have seen tremendous results. I know when we first began, it was greeted with mixed feelings. I want to find out what the buzz is around the sign community (if there is a buzz), and help bring a greater understanding to what our franchise actual is (yes, it is very different from the other sign franchises out there). In 2014 we are going to have a franchise in every state outside of the Western 11 that YESCO has offices in. If you have not heard about YESCO Franchising, and you want to learn more, that is what I am here for, so please don't hesitate to contact me. We have been contacting a lot of companies out there, so if we haven't called you yet, and you want to know more, let me know. I am interested to see what everyone has to say. Jack Larsen
