Okay folks, anyone have top secret recipe for easy removal of the residue from VHB tape removal - speaking specifically of the 3M thin tape used for adhering aluminum faces to aluminum angle ---

We took a razor blade and scraped it then used the vinyl glue removal fluid from the Rapid Tac people. I think it's called Rapid Remover. Spray it on and let it soak and then use a scraper. You can use a scouring pad with it if needed.

Thanks both of you. We had been using the Rapid Remover --- but the WD-40 and a good razor blade works much, much better !
